When do we get the PS Plus NA update for the week? It's 9AM PST. Also when do we get the PS Plus EU update for next month? I know we got the March one in the last two weeks in Feb. Just wondering if there was a specific schedule?

It's usually around 10 AM PDT. Sometimes it's an hour earlier or later depending on what they've planned on posting on the blog for the day.

Hate to say it man, it literally jsut was. I bought both GoW psp games last week and they were both half price, with a ps plus 10% extra discount. Not sure when it ran til but I think it's done. Likely won't be on sale again for awhile :(

It's so so good. I had it on 360 awhile back but I'd prefer to play it on a level by level pick up and playt basis so I grabbed it a few days ago for Vita. Soooo good. And beautiful, it makes me wish for more 2d games

I recently got the HD collection that had the codes to download the 2 PSP games, but was dissapointed that I couldn't download them on the vita. I wonder if it'll it work to directly transfer them, since I have no interest in playing them on the PS3 (I don't know if it's even possible).

its not. i havent played GOS on ps3 yet, but they did a nice job with COO.

Anyone know why the Season Pass for Bioshock Infinite isn't being sold stand-alone on the store?

I see BI for $59.99 and the Bundle with Season Pass for $79.99

I have no clue why they haven't put up the $19.99 Pass for Pre-Order yet, would like to get the bonuses

Gonna grab Rocketbirds for Vita tomorrow looks like, enjoyed the PS3 version immensely

I recommend it on PS3 anyway. The graphics are gorgeous and deserve to be experienced on the biggest screen possible.

I'm glad The Cave is this week's update. Joe Danger just wasn't my thing, and I've always enjoyed Double Fine's games. That leaves Disgaea for next week, which I know nothing about, but will happily try out anyway.

there isn't really any saving going around, given past history we knew we would get one vita update this week and one next week, also given past history it was likely that tekken would be this week and disgaea 3 next week. They may have announced all of the content coming at the start of the month but nothing about NA ps+ changed besides that.

Pretty much this. They tend to post the big Vita game during the last week of the month, while the smaller title is usually posted the week before.
 
My PS Plus ends at the end of the month but I'll probably re-up for Disgaea 3. I've been on the fence on that and waiting for a price drop so this would be perfect. Has anyone bothered with the Foosball game? Is it even worth it?

ooh ooh I bothered with it.
It was better than I expected...
that being said I still only lasted about 20 minutes before deleting it... it's like a flash browser game that has simple gameplay but can keep you entertained for a little bit.

Honestly, I consider it cheap. Three new courses is a lot of gameplay. Tiger Woods 12 charges $4 per DLC course, and I'm pretty sure they were higher at launch. This is $9-12 for three courses and three characters.
 
I REALLY hope they give us the months info for games again. Made this month much better (well vita anniversary is the main reason but just saying).

personally I found it less exciting. I liked the weekly reveals it made my mondays interesting, knowing what is coming all month long means I don't get to have the excitement of a surprise free game for plus until next month.

the lowered amount of complaining from people in general was nice though.
 
So I became a PSN Plus member around 48 hours ago. I am loving the breadth of content available at both discount and for free.

Two questions:

  • Can one download PSV games on PS3 (so that it can be transferred via mini to large USB cable later on)?
  • Is there a place where I can see the price of game for which free full game trials are listed (because I didn't find it in the Plus section)?

you can technicaly download it on ps3 though i don't know if you can transfer it later to psv (i don't have one, yet).
Enjoy ps+, it's real good. And I was one of its eraly detractors, but the formula evolved into something of a gamer's dream.

1. Yes
2. Through the time trials section of PS+ on the webstore, click on any listing, then click on "More for *game name*" in the description to see the price of it.

Here is the link to the timed trials section of PS+ in the European store. Just click on the game and the price should be shown on the left.
 
Does Sony expect me to collect all 98 Avatars/Themes one at a time with their clunky interface and still keep my sanity?

Yes, I must have them all!
 
I've been downloading a whole bunch of free dynamic themes for free thanks to plus. I've found the one I'm going to stick with, its a cracking Sega one. Its basically a kids bedroom with a Megadrive, CRT TV and bunch of games on a table. The game being played on the TV changes each time you turn on the PS3.
