PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

Funny how iphone owners always throw raw sewage on the Vita like the CrApple Zionists they are.
Enjoy your shitty ios casual non-gamer "games" on your teeny tiny 3 & a quarter inch touch only screen.
iPhone is getting XCOM, is the Vita getting it? And that comparison is BS since a phone is always with you whereas a vita is not.

ahh. Wipeout HD.
I wish I had chosen that as my free game for my US PSN (that I use with the Vita)
now I can't access the free DLC packs for Wipeout Vita

I signed up. I was considering becoming a member for quite some time but I never did. The reason was: I missed out on a lot of games already. The likeliness of getting those games again is small, so why would I get plus? I still bought it in the hope that there will be more awesome games coming :).

Oh yeah: Can't even install any games (20GB hard drive). LOLOLOLOL :D

Now that I think about it, I'm regretting not having joined Plus earlier XP.

Only thing I want from April's US Plus offerings is Virtue's Last Reward.

I have my OG 80GB hard drive and PS+ made managing the games a nightmare :lol.

Quick Plus-related question - I bought PS+ for my brother at Christmas when he only had a Vita (he had a launch PS3 but it broke). About a week ago he got another PS3 (in one of the Game preowned deals) and signed in - Plus worked fine etc.

Problem is, now the PS3 is playing up so needs to be exchanged for a replacement one. How do I make sure he can still access his PS+ content when he gets a replacement PS3? Do I have to deactivate his account on the broken PS3?

Not sure what the number of PS3:s allowed on 1 account is nowdays but if you need to it's super easy to deactivate the old PS3 system from the playstation website.

If you need to ''purchase'' plus content while you still don't have a PS3 you can do that with the webstore.
Maximum Number of Systems

There is a maximum number of systems that can be activated with one account which differs depending on the content.
For purchased/downloaded content before November 17, 2011 the number of systems for activation is:

For Game Content - Five (5) PS3 and/or portable systems

For Video Content - One (1) PS3 and up to Three (3) portable systems

As of November 18, 2011, number of systems for activation is:

For Game Content - Two (2) PS3 and/or portable systems

For Video Content - One (1) PS3 and up to Three (3) portable systems

If you exceed this amount, you will need to deactivate a system before the new one can be used to download content. You must also have the system with you in order to activate or deactivate it.

So I guess you don't need to bother deactivating anything right now if you don't want :P

Having a 80gig was a nightmare, my friend wanted me to play ratchet with him which was a 15gig game, making 30gigs of space to download it sucked.

I replay some games with mandatory install all the time and it blows.

I ended up just buying a slim for that reason when my ps3 fat died. Kind of wish I went for the super slim for the 500gig... my 320gig has like 140 gig left.

brb installing mgs4.

They do. Machinarium, Costume Quest, Limbo comes to mind for example.

Besides Wipeout HD Fury got a retail release in EU :D.

It's worth pointing out to those that care, that the retail release we had is a gimped version.

I tracked down the retail when I purchased a 3DTV, specifically to play on it. I found a copy, but it would not give me the 3D option.

Turns out the 3D does not, nor will ever work on the retail release. It is simply absent from the game.

I was pissed. Alot.

Untill I got it for free after PSN went down. It still sucks though.

The number of PS3s one account can use its bought content on is two, and to use more than that you'll have to de-activate his account on the broken PS3. However, the Sony Entertainment Network website also has a "deactivate all consoles" button, which does what it says on the tin. He'll have to re-activate his Vita, but other than you not being able to use said button for a few months, everything should be fine.

Wish they'd at least do that 'twitter hints' they did last time with March's offerings.
Personally I want Sonic Racing Transformed as the Plus freebie, if only to see if the digital ver. recognizes the save data for my disc ver.

my 500 gb drive only has 60 gb left. not good, not good!
I have a 500GB HDD in my console and I actually received a "Not enough space on storage" message yesterday for the first time in 3 or so years.

If I knew that PS+ was going to be a thing when I picked up this HDD I would have spent the little extra cash to get a bigger drive. With this generation coming to a close, I'm not sure if I want to invest in anything bigger.

You guys don't actually dl everything and then keep it do ya? I don't think I've ever gone more than 50 gigs on my 500 lol.

Just bought a 3DS XL in the ongoing Target sale. Many, many games drew me to this (mostly DS). One of the major ones is 999 and how people kept raving about both that and VLR. I need to play this soon after I wrap up a few other games so I can play VLR on my Vita.

Yup but then I still have 120GB left of a 500GB HDD...

I have 53 PS3 titles on my HDD and 10 PSone games.

If I get low, there are several I would be happy to delete (hi Mortal Kombat) but as I am not at that stage yet, who cares

What's the best HDD for a PS3? I'd like to stick with a regular HDD running at 5400 and not a SSD.

My 160GB can't keep up with PS+ and I'm tired of constantly downloading, deleting, redownloading GBs.

I'm at that point where I'm hesitant to buy anything because I don't know what's coming each month. I want to buy some of these HD updates like MGS, Okami, etc. but they just seem like prime candidates for Plus. Then again, so many things do. I just don't want to spend $20 on a game right now and then find out I could have gotten it for free in a future update.

The safe road for Plus is this: don't buy anything that's not on sale unless it is a very recent release. In some cases you may still want to buy something just because you can't wait to play it or want to support the developer, but in those cases you have no good reason to feel remorse if it becomes a Plus freebie.

Agreed. I'm mainly kind of in a hurry to decide though before the bonus $10 thing ends.

I almost bought Tales of Graces f... and then I watched some of it on Youtube. Never again.

I have a 300GB HDD...finally under 50GB left :( All games, no movies or music.
Think I'm at 75 free/paid for games and 30 free/paid classics titles as well as my own disc installs (Only 2 games, FIFA and Skyrim is all I really play anymore. My wife plays Rockband still with 100's of DL tracks)

Ive downloaded every freebie they have handed since PS+ as well as my own purchases (no portable stuff tho)
I'm at the point now where I think I might have to start deleting stuff I dont play or have never even launched lol.

I feel like a hoarder...its free, I download/install it, never play it. Might be time to start deleting stuff, I look and see I have titles like Calling all Cars and Pain I havent played in 2+ years lol.

I need a new hard drive too. 120GB isn't cutting it. I have to constantly delete games. I deleted the install data for GT5 so I could install another game. Popped in GT5 again and it took forever to both install the 2GB's and download the update. Ugh.

In that sense I'm kinda glad I have a small HDD (yeah right). I'm kinda forced to play whatever I download and I really can't download anything else until I'm done with the game I downloaded first.

One thing I used to do was "Add to Cart" PS+ free games and then cancel out. I would then have them listed in my Purchase History forever and could download them whenever I wanted.

However, I'm no longer seeing "Add to Cart" but only "Download". That frustrates me. -_-

I do not have a HDD large enough to install them all!

Just cancel the download as soon as it starts.

Just finished The Cave. What a nice little game. One of those games that I would never have played without PS+. And, after all, that's what PS+ is all about, giving us the opportunity to play games that we wouldn't pay to play.
