Well SCEJ became a PSP player in Japan, so that division stayed it's course and had only a handful of offerings for the PS3

Same for the Vita it looks

SCEA I seriously think loses money to MS and their clockwork like content release schedule

Hell SCEE does more for it's customers by doing ridiculous deals to combat used sales and is winning by pricing DD very strong
I mean the deals are ridiculous

I do get why SCEA is handcuffed due to retailers, but rather than try to push itself to be on time, they keep dropping the ball from making DD a viable option
If people got their Day 1 Digital titles @ Midnight on release day or allowed them to Pre-load (Is this even possible?), how much more money can Sony gain
You get users to buy into your eco-system, you locked them into your service, and no used title

Sometimes I really think SCEA is B Squad to all the doings and lose ground to MS in that area

They launched EU pre loads about a year ago. No idea why SCEA never bothered implementing them.

I dunno, Okami HD and VLR sound pretty cool. Also LOTR apparently isn't half bad nowdays. It certainly isn't a bad update for EU.

Maybe they wanted to announce something like automatic downloading from the web store, but can't until whatever issues they have are fixed.

Also, it might be (as dumb as this sounds) that they want to release the blog posts in a certain order, but one is holding up the rest.

My gaming time is limited.

If a game requires multiple playthroughs and doesn't allow for that with rapid jumps over repeated content the multiple playthroughs aren't worth my time.

I understand entirely. I'm the same way. However, both 999 and VLR allow you to skip dialogue you've already seen in previous routes/playthroughs. Also, 999 is considerably shorter than VLR. I think 999 was ~10 hours and VLR was ~30.

Kind of weird Demon's Souls is offered as a free game. It's definitely worth the $20. Oh well, I own the game so not really excited for it. For everyone else who never played it, you're in for a big treat.

Some weird game. I remember seeing a Giant Bomb quick look, iirc it was some arena fighter or something. I remember it having an interesting art style too. I'm not sure though since it came out a while ago.
