Well, LOTR War in the North turns out to be better than I expected. One of the things that I like of PS+ is that allow me to play games that I otherwise i've never even touch. The best example of it was Space Marine, and What a fun game that was. LOTR is not on the same possition bu any means, but, It's fun and It's " free "

If you think there's any chance of you owning a Vita in the future though, getting Plus is still a great deal. There's new Vita games every month that you'll want to 'purchase' for free to your account.
I signed up to Plus last month and I don't own a Vita yet, but thanks to Plus I already have a library of Vita games to play when I eventually buy one. It's really great value for money.

As long as we are a Plus subscriber, will we still be able to claim PS4 goodies even if we don't yet own a PS4? I suppose the best way to tell is if PS3 owners who don't own a Vita are still able to download the Vita games?
I ask as Plus on PS4 from day one is really the only reason why i'd want to buy one asap. If the answer is "yes" to the above questions, then getting one asap doesn't matter much any more and I can wait till 2014/15 (and have a nice game nest waiting for me when I do jump in).

I really can't see our current subscriptions extending to the PS4 as well.
Free PS3, PS Vita AND PS4 games every month for the price we currently pay? - not a chance I don't think.
Plus will be on the PS4 for sure, but I think there'll be different tiers (with different price points depending on the level of service).

Was there not a slight reduction in their PS3 output when they introduced Vita? I imagine as time goes on and PS3 gets less support, while PS4 gets more, there will be a natural transition.
I agree that there will probably be tiers with other services folded into them though.
Sony should just upgrade current PS+ subscribers to the PS4 service for the duration of their subs. That's the only way I'd even consider buying a PS4 before a price drop, at least.
That's the perception but I don't think it's accurate. Stands to reason as you say though that the PS4 will start to take over from the PS3 content.
I'd hope for maybe a free psn/ps1/2 game for a couple of months on PS4+ the IGC in any form would make me happily buy a console on day one. I thought it'd stop me buying games but its sold me on digital and I'm spending more than ever on PSN. Ill be keeping my PS3 subscription as long as my backlog holds out so I hope there's some kind of dual subscription.
yea I got 2 months free and got like a bunch of games I kind of enjoyed, then subscribed for 15 months and got okami hd for the first month, I really can't complain.
wish I had a vita but I'm not really into portable, it would be super cool if I do.
Well, if you ever do decide to get a Vita, any Plus games you get for it will be waiting for you if you. (If you have a Plus subscription then, too.)

Not sure why I downloaded Mortal Kombat, I don't even like fighting games that much, and I get bored after 4-5 fights.

I'm playing inFamous 2 right now (played the first a few weeks ago through a rental and enjoyed it) and I'm really loving it so far. Looks better, plays better, feels better than the first. It's really great, especially if you liked 1, so I say get that!

Our PS+ subscriptions absolutely WILL extend to our PS4s. We simply won't get fre PS4 games for the first year, maybe less. Similar to the Vita. We didn't get free Vita games until 9 months after release.
Give the MK challenge mode a try, it's pretty fun.
For me inFamous 2 is easily the better game. You need to be a patient sort of gamer to put up with Okami's issues and enjoy what it has to offer.
I really wish I knew that my + would expire today, got a 49.99 charge today out of nowhere and saw it was because of +. I was 100% sure I had automatic funding off but apparently my settings reset one day...a notification saying I had like a week left or a day left would have been nice :/

Has anyone in the EU started playing War In The North yet?
My save progression seems to be absolutely fucked up. Joining multiplayer switches where my single player is, and for some reason today it starts m at the beginning of the city, resetting all my progress in the quest but keeping my levels and gear. It shows I have to release the bird again but when I do he doesnt come back and I can no longer progress. it's really strange
Edit: Got to another point where I'm supposed to enter the citadel by letting the two elves stop the dark agic on the door and defeat a troll that comes to stop us. Except the two elves arent there and there is no prompt for anything.
It's really frusrating, I've already gone through this level and the two elves said I had to go somewhere, but nothing new popped up on the map so I just went back to bree but aragon's conversation prompts stayed the same. Not entirely sure what I should do

Love Okami HD. Have been playing 2 hours or something, but it's really great so far.
Also enjoyed the first episode of the walking dead by telltales. I didn't even notice it was free until I read it somewhere last week.
If PS+ carries over to PS4 I'm likely an early adopter.

On top of the other comments, I'd be *very* surprised if Plus was on PS4 from day one. It's rare that they give away just-released titles, I really don't see them giving away just-released launch titles.

It is a game by Ron Gilbert. The man who gave us Monkey Island, ask no more questions, download it, play it and judge it for yourself amigo ;3
It's an adventure game with platforming elements.
Okami may not be for everyone but it's a game you just need to give your time to, to play it.
I personally am glad I'm getting it as a Plus freebie as I've been wanting to get it for months.

I was playing it with 3 people, it actually has some frustrating solutions to puzzles. Story is kinda fun. Could have been better. Play it with others for best results.

The Cave is delicious. Don't get into it thinking it's a spiritual succesor to DoTT or something, just have fun with it. Great adventure platformer with a suprising amount of dark comedy. It's got some lovely puzzles, none of them really hard but some may take a while to figure out. 
And there's a fantastisc Monkey Island reference, that's alway's a good thing.

you have to get gold from a dragon to give to the maiden. When I got the gold, the dragon gets loose and kills everyone, and the game screams "who left the gate open!". Hilarious ... if I had opened the gate. I have the time traveller, who can pass through the gate with her special ability. I never actually opened the gate. Kinda took me out of the game.
