PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

I think I played one of the Hitman games for about 5 minutes or so. I'm not really keen on the stealth stuff. Not really of interest to me but we'll see what else comes up. I have Bioshock Infinite now to play through though so anything else would just be a distraction from that!

Will probably buy Contracts and Blood Money HD at that price. Been meaning to play them for ages.

No word on any Vita sales though? :/

Yeah so announced the game early so people don't buy in the sale and then complain they are getting it for free.

Strangely no COD : Declassified in the sale! :(

Call of duty is rarely on sale. Ubisoft and EA are the forward thinking developers offering their titles.

I might get blood money, anything people should know about the ps3 version? BTW Hitman Absolution is a BIG game for IGC.. I am not disappointed in the slightest. In fact it continues to impress me what goes up on SCEE's PS+

The two Hitman games sound incredibly cheap. I've never played any of them before...Worth it?

I've only played Silent Assassin back on the Gamecube, but I'm curious to see how it's aged. I imagine not too great. The big thing for me about that game was the inconsistency of some of the level design, on the good end you have missions that have multiple routes and rely on a lot of good timing and guesswork on the player's part, that once you have sussed, can be extremely satisfying. On the other end there are some truly awful missions that are exactly the opposite and feel very cheap and trial-and-error prone. Also, you rarely get punished for just going on a rampage, but that isn't the most interesting way to play, in my opinion. :P

For £8.90 or whatever it's going to cost you, I'd say it's worth the inexpensive gamble. People generally say Blood Money is the best so yeah, if you're going to drop money on it, maybe that one. Can't speak for it myself though.

Didn't notice there are three Hitman games there >.< Silent Assassin worth it too?

Edit: Ahh, thanks Mono :)

Hitman 2 has a couple of good levels but most of them range from mediocre to really bad. It sucks. Avoid it. Go with Contracts (which is pretty good) and Blood Money (which is awesome).

I'm going to have to think hard about if I want to get hitman bloodmoney or chaos theory.

Two very different games, but after guacamole i only got enough cash in my PSN wallet for 1 of them !

You can't go wrong at that price, it's well worth it. The game is not much of a looker, although, it has a nice enough style to it. A kind of dirty future, which matches a lot of the themes of the game's plot and universe. Very immersive and it gave me a lot of good stealth tension when I played it. I'd say it's more comparable to Alpha Protocol, but to me it plays so much better than AP. There's a decent amount of mission variety around a basic structure, and they tie into the overall narrative quite well. Pretty cool soundtrack too.

oh, hitman absolution for next month?

cool, will give it a try.

Thanks, i'll take it.

I already finished Absolution but I hope some people will be happy. You can turn on and off some help in the game if you want a bigger challenge.

Fellow GAFfers how many more time until we get the game that will replace:

Infamous2
LBP2
Uncharted GA
Gravity Rush

Also, is VLR already on the Store or is it too soon? Thanks in advance.

PS3 "Long term" games will probably be swapped out after E3 (probably new games announced during Sony's conference). Vita "long term" have only been there since November, so probably won't change til late this year.

VLR is on EU stores now.

VLR is there if you search. Despite the negativity I'm looking forward to trying Absolution. Infamous 2 and LBP2 should be replaced quite soon I think, maybe to coincide with the anniversary of IGC?

VLR should be availble for Plussers this week. There won't be a Plus freebie next week in EU PSN for some reason...

Thanks for the Quick answers fellow GAFfers.

PS Plus-GAF and Vita-GAF are such kind and awesome people. I'm very happy with my Vita purchase, have almost for a month now.

From the other topic, but I wonder how long it'll take to get Tomb Raider added to EU plus. Square seem to put all their big Western games up on it.

It's funny though because each and every game they put up I already owned. I just sell my retail copy

Aww, isn't that nice of them to tell us? Most retailers would happily let you pay a higher price for a product they know is about to go on sale.

Crysis 1 for 8 quid is looking so very appealing. The problem is that my backlog is already sp big I don't know if I'd ever actually get round to playing it..........

I can't talk for the quality of the version, but I played it originally on the original Xbox and it was great. Preferred the first, but not by much (and I think most people prefer CT).
