PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

I imagine the PS3 hardware would have added an additional $100 or so to the price tag. Besides, I doubt they'll stop putting PS3 games on Plus right away.

Well they did say the PS3 has a co-processor for all the background stuff. Sony could announce at E3 that the co-processor is The Cell and thus all PS4's have 100% Backwards compatability. The rumors on how the 720 are doing backwards compatability are Microsoft doing it that way aren't they?

The background chip on PS4 is not Cell.

I'm starting to regret subscribing to Playstation Plus, it has nothing to do with the game offerings, but the fact that i now have an enormous pile of games to play trough, i already had quite a few before i subscribed, but now i don't even know how to tackle them.

Play one or two games at a time fellow GAFfer. Maybe add some multiplayer if you like it.

Sell all the other games you don't need/want or do not care for collection purposes. You will save money and space. Play only what you like, not all the games that come for Plus are good for everyone.

Do not force yourself into playing something, it's a hobby, have some fun!

I gave up on playing them all long ago.

Even if I only play 4 or 5 PS+ games a year it's still well worth the price for me

Poor, sweet baby. There there.

I have a question about the lord of the rings game of the eu ps+, is there a way to assign points to members without using them?
I like only the sorceress and i want to continue only with her, i don't want to use the other two only to assign their points.

Nope only way to assign points to them is to play as/control them.

I thought the AI assigned points to characters not being played as?

Makes the game pretty hard if you focus on one character, no?

Well way I saw it, they would get to use random abilities based on the level they were in, and would have their stats increased respectivaly. So yeah the AI does do some stuff automatically, but the game would also offer the player the option to alter their stats when they control the other character(s).

If i understood correctly the ai assigns automatically the points if i don't use a character right? If so i can deal with it.
Thanks XD

Then my Plus subscription expires before the All-Stars sale. I was hoping I could buy it with my credit from last month's promotion and then just renew Plus when I feel like it. Blah.

Malicious is the worst game on PSN and it's completely worthless to be getting on PS+. Contender for the worst game that I have ever played that wasn't technically broken. Wow.
Hydrophobia was better than this, by a mile.

Malicious isn't for me, that's for sure. I'm sure there's some combo tricks that'd make the bosses easier (and die faster, oh god please die faster), but I got bored long before that. A turbo button would help matters.

Did they change the way PS+ free content works? I remember having to put stuff in cart and checkout for free, but now I just download it?
The store got updated about a month ago. Pre update everything had to be added to the cart to checkout. Post update, free stuff, including PS+ games, skips the checkout process and directly downloads. They did it to shorten the checkout process for demos, but in doing so they lengthened the process for checking out multiple free items. What they should have done is reverted back to what the old store offered, a download button and an add to cart button.

Like Vashetti said, just use the webstore. It still has the cart buttons and next month it'll have remote downloads.

I just finished and platinumed Gravity Rush. What a refreshing experience. The missions are somewhat repetitive and the combat could be a little more fleshed out, but that was easy for me to ignore because the art, music, traversal, characters, etc. are so good. The sequel is going to be a damn good game.

Chapter 12 was the highlight of the game to me. It had me swinging between feeling adventurous exploring the unknown and very unsettled at suddenly having no control over gravity as I fall... and fall... and fall.

On another note, given how much trouble non-gamers have with dual analog shooters I'd love to see one of them try to play this game. Flying around all sides of the landscape, the viewpoint constantly shifting sideways and upside down... I think my dad would actually throw up.

So the Spring Fever stuff is basically just giant franchises which have already had plenty of sales? Lame. Sprinkle in some indie stuff.

well when you learned the ultimate pooping skill in okami, you know it's time to wrap things up.

guess I'll be missing 1 trophy, stupid sea monster dude that swallowed me.

I kept a save right before that part just in case I decided to go for the Platinum. :P I think it was the last trophy I got.

I wouldn't say Malicious is bad (as in broken, unplayable or uninspired as we've seen with other titles on PS+). It's just not good. Had a lot of potential.
