Just got around to downloading Infamous 2 and LBP2. I've owned the physical versions so never felt the need to DL them, but may as well now that I've upgraded the hard drive.
I hope the Sleeping Dogs thing turns out to be true, I have come very close to buying that game.

Shooting is not exactly the main focus of the game thou.
Guns are a minor element in Sleeping Dogs, you spend far more time in hand to hand combat then shoot bang time.

Just gotta say I love the cloud save feature.
It makes me more at ease knowing that my saves are stuck to my profile should something happen to my PS3.

Definitely my favourite aspect of the service aside from free games.
If they ended the IGC and started giving more, larger discounts, I'd keep my subscription.
They probably shouldn't do that, though.

Sony is really strange with their PSN+ offerings. They could really leverage some older games that haven't sold well at all.

Why not? Discounts is a great incentive to have PS+. Sadly its not enough. They should offer more discounts more often and more than 50% off as 50% tends to be the norm in seasonal sales. Like its not that special. For example, RE4 was 50% at one point, launch window i believe. Same sale of game is up again now which is stupid, why not aim for 60%+ on the second time it went on sale?
I would pay yearly for PS+ just for discounts. Its also a great incentive for future PS users in the case of PS4. Sure PS3 content wont carry over, but Sony could offer large % on new PS4 content that would please users like me even when the old catalog wont be playable until they accrue newer content on the new platform that can go as rentals.

It generally seems like the spotlit sony games in IGC are those SCE want to strengthen in the future, saleswise.
Personally I think its great for Sony that, Infamous 2, LBP2 and Motorstorm have fixed places. It may provide them with stronger sales for the next installments in each respective franchise.
Word of mouth can work to their advantage.

Why happy? Pretty bad month, imo. Again, worth $4, but everything besides Sleeping Dogs strikes me as... lackluster...
I'm also fearful there won't be a big change at E3 like we expect/hope. They've really changed the way they're doing things compared to what they said they would do coming out of E3 last year.
My best hope is that the three permanent games (Ratchet, Infamous, and LBP) get swapped, but even that might not happen.

Sleepy Dawgz is obviously great. Pinball Arcade is WONDERFUL. Truffle Trouble looks like a 2.5D version of Catherine, which is fine by me, and I really can't say anything about Germinator as I don't have a Vita. Seems like a good month to me!

I haven't played Sleeping Dogs, so that's a win. And I'd like to see as much support as possible for Pinball Arcade. It should be *the* poster child for free on PS+ and big fat DLC sales afterward.
It was free for Europe not too long ago. I don't think North America ever got it.

I think the plan was always to leave the 3 big first party games up for a full year, so we'll probably see LBP2, Infamous 2 and Rachet & Clank: All 4 One swapped out in June to coincide with E3 and the anniversary of the Instant Game Collection's introduction.

Damnit I hoped for demon souls. We usually do not know this far ahead of time about games though. Just enjoy hitman absolution, and catherine coming this wednesday and let them surprise you mid month like they always do.

I wouldn't take it as gospel, just because it can pretty much extrapolated from comments on the Blog over the past couple months, doesn't necessarily mean there's a source (although that would be an awesome addition!)
PS: the comments mentioned the possibility of us getting Dark Souls like the States and that a Lego game would be coming but not in the next couple months.

The Vita lego games are ports of the DS lego games. Trust me, you want the console version.

Never played Dark Souls, simply because it doesn't look like the sort of thing I find appealing, but I'd be willing to give it a go for free. I welcome that rumour.
