why is Folklore still not on PS+ :/

Have they given away free PS Plus PS3 games with no trophies? (Folklore, Ratchet ToD, Heavenly Sword, etc..)

... No? I don't think so, at least. EU shares its information usually a couple weeks early, but not a month early.

Also I would expect both territories to belay their information so that it can be revealed at E3. But maybe they'll only talk about the three year-long releases being changed then, and you'll get your usual reveal in a couple of weeks.

I will buy the disc version another time to see how the patch improves the system.

I was so hyped for a new Hitman game after so many years, such disappointment.

Thank god I was able to cancel my pre order in time last year.

Folklore isn't mediocre

also it's not even on PSN so don't expect it on PS+ anytime soon

I don't see games like Folklore or Heavenly Sword coming. Partly for other reasons but mainly because they haven't brought games to PS+ that far back in the PS3 life cycle (at least in europe)

Though it was SCEE (specifically Ross, who no longer works there) that said that, so SCEA are free to do whatever.

It's not, but the demo is only 1753 MB. I think the entire game runs in-engine which should make it fairly small compared to something like MGS4.

You'd be surprised. Trophy whores are loud and terrible. Plenty of people here on GAF won't play a game unless it has trophies. Or even won't play a game with trophies unless it has a platinum trophy.

Achievements/Trophies have unmasked the worst in gamers' OCD tendencies. I personally would have enjoyed Folklore.

None of my PS3 games are trophy-less, but I didn't get a system till 2009. I'm happy to play games without platinums since I know I won't get most plats anyway.

Games that are super stingy with trophies kind of bug me, but I still downloaded Wipeout 2048. That one's a real grind.

. And yes, the controls can be rage inducing. And the slowdowns during boss stages really ups my rage over 9000.

Controls are slightly better with the Dpad however.

Edit : To clarify, by slowdowns I mean massive fps drops during boss special attacks or camera movements for dramatic effect.

Re : Drinking - Yeah, I should try drinking it up some more....even though Vincent seems to do it well enough by himself

Just checking but does the disguise glitch affect all difficulties in Hitman: Absolution or just Hard difficulty? ...and is the glitch apparent in both disc and digital PS3 versions?

This has messed me up more times than I care to admit. Trying to be fast, pressing left/right and X immediately afterwards. And then Vincent goes the other way, lets go of the block and falls to his death.

I think you just move faster during the puzzle sections IIRC. I'd love to play through Catherine again if it ever comes to NA PS+. I rented it a while back and loved it (for the story, gameplay was just ok).
