yeah I beat it on easy as well and while I want to see the other endings I don't really have a desire to do the puzzles again, heck I had to watch videos on youtube to figure out some of the later ones >_<

If you're playing Catherine for the first time you need not to play on Easy, but Very Easy (hold the select button at the start menu until you hear the ding and it says very easy mode activated.) Play through once, get the hang of it, then try easy (it has eight endings, so replay value is there, at least in the later stages when the branch offs really matter.)
Fuck normal + mode. Not worth the trouble in story mode. Go to Babel mode if you want that endless frustration. "It's the killer. Don't Die."

What the heck... I just don't get how people have had trouble finishing the game on normal. Sure I had to retry some missions a couple of times, but the game wasn't THAT hard. Normal mode is certainly manageable - hard gets frustrating on the second night.
Is there a trophy guide you got that from?
Would love a link if so.
I want to play Catherine I'm just dreading the trophies...

It wasn't that I couldn't get through it on normal, but it was just too tedious to be worth it. As much as I like the game, the third time you restart a level isn't rewarding. Just boring and frustrating. Like most people I was playing for the story anyway.

Silly question: I download a free game with PSN+. My subscription expires next month and won't renew. Can I properly buy the same game, or it will show up as "Purchased" and there's nothing I can do but renew PSN+?

Yay to Sly, idk about Ratchet & Clank though. I didn't enjoy the beta.
Much better than All 4 One but still doesn't touch the other games.

About Catherine, eh, certainly not an easy game but once you actually learn how to play even Hard is not that bad. Easy and Normal become pretty easy when you learn to abuse the rewind feature, although I wouldn't recommend using it if you ever want to play on Hard, or Babel.
Rapunzel is definitely worse imo, I did use video guides for every single level (and there are so many levels). >_<
Great additions this month but I already played Sleeping Dogs and Knytt Underground. The former is an amazing game and the latter is pretty good, too.

R&C:FFA will be Cross-buy and bonus is Ratchet: Deadlock HD for free. For $10(PS+) its a steal. Heard it has a platinum me thinks.

I haven't started it yet, but based on the discussion about it from earlier in the thread: People either love or completely hate it.
One of the biggest pieces of shit I've ever played. 5 minutes in and it was deleted. SCEA at its best.

I loved the shit out of it but I can totally understand why some people would hate it, hell, I hated it at first. It doesn't do a good job of explaining what the directional buttons do so for a long time I went by thinking that the bullet hell shooty bit was the only weapon in the game. Once you get your wings and your hovering ability it becomes a magical thing, kind of like what I wanted out of an Iron Man game in terms of gameplay but never got. I've still got two levels to beat but so far I'd put it right up there with the best.
The art style is kind of generic anime, but the aliasing, model definition and texture resolution are all surprisingly decent for a small thousand army game. Also, I wish the life/continue system was more sensible; either remove it outright or give infinite continues or have some clear way to *gain* continues.
That floating castle level is also some of the most fun I've ever had in a game.

In Malicious use your fists shooting is very weak. pea shooter weak. As you play you gain abilities and it gets better.

Usually 1 month, some titles stay a while longer.
Then there are the original IGC titles like LBP2, InFamous 2 ect that have been free for a year and will be rotated next month.
I'm pretty sure Knytt is 1 month deal.

At least this one has a singleplayer mode and some trophies to earn. I will take literally any psp game that is not a fighting game.
But for realsies, why do we get shit like Zombie Tycoon? Where's the love SCEA? Throw us Unit 13 or something, it's not like that's selling and it's pretty old by now. Or hell, I'd take Resistance: Burning Skies at this point.
Zombie Tycoon 2 is pretty decent. Plus it's a brand new game that's free for PS+. It also has a platinum trophy.
