PlayStation Plus Thread: Plus What? PLUS EVERYTHING!

I'm pretty sure EU got all these the preceding month.
Edit: ugh, I just realized you were talking about the PSABR overall sale. We got that one in December or January IIRC.

Nah, our one was pretty shit compared to theirs. Sly: Thieves in Time, DMC Trilogy and R&C FFA/Q-Force all had pretty great discounts.

Getting a VITA this week so I'm going to sign up for PS Plus.
I'll get to play Gravity Rush and Uncharted.
Plus i can get some PS3 titles as well, great deal!

Are the Sleeping Dogs Nightmare in North Point and Year of the Snake DLCs completely isolated or are they affected by my progress in the main game? (Example: When I play then, will I be able to use any moves I've unlocked, and will my maximum health be whatever it is in the main game?)

I know that Nightmare in North Point is completely separate. Not sure about Year of the Snake but I would assume it is similar.

They are both separate campaigns from the main, not sure about Wei's moves though. But I know in Year of the Snake you get a taze move when you grapple and press attack.

I played PS3 Germinator demo when it came out; it's not a bad game at all, it actually had better production values than I was expecting, and seems pretty fun. I'll gladly accept it for free on Vita. Even though about buying it beforehand; might very well get it on PSN on sale later, now. Though I wish they gave out the Cross-Buy bundle instead, because playing Co-Op / VS on console would be even better.

Pinball Arcade free... so that includes 3 free tables, right? Great way to get everyone addicted to buying more; And it is always nice to get a cross-buy purchase for free.

Men's room Mayhem for .97 cent on discount, haha; I'm enjoying all these extremly inexpensive, but fun Vita games, lately, actually. Not too bad on the Vita memory, not bad on the wallet, Vita resolution-quality and Trophies, all together. Though I do think it's a bit bad for PSMobile; it makes it feel like the 2 services are competing more than needed.

Pinball is great. Worth grabbing.
Agreed. I spent $10 on the 360 version and quite enjoyed those first few tables. Then the support for that platform evaporated. I'm definitely going to check out the PS3 version and might spend money on the new tables since they were actually released there.

Man, I can't believe there's no DLC sale on Pinball Arcade. I was really hoping to stock up on tables, but guess not. It's a great game nonetheless for those new to it, with four good to great default tables.

Maybe next week? :P The DLC sale for Sleeping Dogs came the following week.

Sony has really partnered with Gamestop now:

My Sony rep has said that for every PS+ one yr membership sold, that GS employee will get a $5 PSN credit. This is already after GS customers getting a $10 credit! Impressive stuff.

Do we have confirmation of this from anywhere? I sell the shit out of some plus subscriptions at our store. How do they track it? How do they deliver our PSN bucks? I'm stoked about this if true.

Guys, quick question please. I'm gonna go with some US PS+, at what time this month is there gonna be changes in the games list? I saw the 28th, is that so? So that I have 'til the 27th to get some codes.

Something leaves and something is added with every PS Store update, which is every Tuesday.

If I've used a trial code previously can I use another one or does PSN lock me out using another 30 day trial?

I have a trial code here and no matter how I enter it it keeps saying it's invalid, and it is in date. Any help?

It locks you out. One trial per account, ever.

So I'm still relativaly new to Plus and I have a couple of questions.

Do they ever offer discounts on new games? For example with The Last of Us coming out in 3 weeks, any chance for a Plus discount on the digital version?

Speaking of digital versions, I think only Euro PSN does pre-load?

I have some money left in my wallet so I'm kinda interested in buying the digital version instead of the retail one but PSN is so slow that without pre-load I won't be able to play on the first day...

Smaller games (Guacamelee comes to mind) at least get plus discounts on release. Not sure on big AAA releases, probably not.

They are doing a Season One bundle of 17 tables for $29.99 (or $39.99 for pro versions).
I hope this deal becomes available in the EU too, been waiting for a good deal to jump in and buy them all.

Having a blast with Catherine. Even tho the dialogue is terribly written and full of cliches, the story is refreshing and I'm happy to finally play someone close my age in an anime-like production; also the gameplay and level design is upper tight.
Too bad my PS+ expires June 4th, hope to beat it before then. I'll renew it for a couple of months if I ever get a Vita tho.

Right there with you fellow GAFfer. Loving the game and to think I was so close to giving up but then it clicked and now I'm hooked.

I confirmed it today at local shop. Original post by Square Triangle is correct.

Considering subscribing to PS+, seems like an incredible deal. So I start with the 12 PS3 games that are currently available and then as they rotate in new ones that builds my library and the ones they remove are still available? If so, man, wish I had sub'd earlier. Oh well. =) Oh, and for those games to continue to be available do I have to download them, or is it enough that they were offered at the time I had already started my subscription?

Edit: Ah, nm, finished the FAQ and it answered my questions. The game must have been downloaded, which means that yeah I should've subbed earlier and stayed on top of downloading everything as it became available.

Well, I'm EU but wanted some US PS+ so if someone here working at Gamestop wanna enjoy the freebie he'd get, I can paypal him the 50$, he gets the code and PM it to me and that's it?

I need to update that.

You can use the web store for your PS+ region to add the item to your cart and check out. This is enough to attach the license to your account.

On a real system (PS3, PSV) you can start the download and then cancel once it begins (IIRC).

Not downloaded, but actually purchased, you can cancel the download and download it anytime, so long as youve purchased the item for free and says thank you for your purchase its yours to keep, you dont have to download it straight away, you can go back and download at a later date

Awesome, thanks for clarifying that. I really should subscribe -- so many great games I've missed up until now. Hopefully they'll continue to do something like this for the PS4.

A few pages back someone mentioned their experience with Shadow of the Colossus in 3D, so I thought I'd check it out. I'd agree that it's surprisingly pretty good. Certainly a noticeable drop in frame rate, but the trade off is very much worth it.

Soooo, yeah, for the 2 or 3 people that might care, lol.

I'm new to the service, does anyone know if games will reappear on the service?

In the time that I've been a member, that's never happened. I can't imagine it ever will given the vast amount of content that's yet to be included. If it's any consolation, games that have gone free sometimes get steep discounts later on.
