I got LBP:K a while back when it was $10 but its actually a pretty good kart game.

X-com is a good one, but I feel like if people wanted to play it they have already.

UC3, Meh.
 
Amazing update. I really want to play Uncharted 3 and XCOM.

But I'm seeing a lot of people talking about U3 size. Where does this info comes from? I searched on the store and only found the multiplayer f2p, the single player is disc only from what I found.
 
LBP K will play that a bit I guess, plus I'm sure my brother will like it. Played Uncharted 3 already. Have had XCOM since launch on PC, most multiplat games that comes to plus I already have on PC. Need more console exclusives on plus!

Great update for those that haven't played though.

They advertised the single player during a sale in the last week of May of this year. So, I'm guessing they have it up there somewhere, but I never found it. :|
 
I own two of those games but I wouldn't mind trading them in. And I wanted the third. Nice. :) Although I suspect I won't get much for Uncharted 3.

It's a really fun game and really under appreciated.

Great US update. Wonder if there will be any E3 special announcements regarding Plus.
 
Days after I finish the copy of UC3 I bought...

Still awesome, though! Even if that game can be annoying as all hell sometimes.

I'm curious to see how they handle it with PS4. Obviously they can't have a bunch of PS4 games on day one, but maybe some streaming of PS1/PS2 stuff? That would be a very good start.
 
This month is a good batch for me--was wanting to play Xcom and LBPK but never really motivated enough to buy them outright.

Can't wait to try the Vita games too...
 
LBP:Karting kinda killed my enthusiasm when I discovered you can't advance the story with more than two people. My wife and I had a friend over, wanted to play a kart racer, found out someone had to sit it out while events got unlocked. I trust Sonic All-Stars Transformed isn't the same way? Because the kart racer we bought was a bit of a toss-up. :(

They could wait a few months like they did with Vita. Or have PSN games.
 
How it's even possible for them to do this? Aren't they losing money? Does the subcription money for PS Plus really covers it up?

Ah just bought Uncharted 3 with a bundle of other games. Oh well, I'm happy for LBP:K. Already have XCOM on PC but I guess it's nice to be able to play it cross platform. Can't complain at free.
 
Well I have UC3 and x-com & LBP karting have never really been games on my radar, so not really an update to rave about (i'll give them both a try though)

Dont mind though, since I joined plus 4 months ago, my backlog has become hideous
 
I'm pretty happy with X-COM since it's a game I'm kinda interested in, but never really considered purchasing. LBPK is okay I guess and I already have U3.

I'd hold off for a few days and see if there is any promotion announced at E3 (not hugely likely, but possible). I don't know of anything currently going on though.
 
Uncharted is only free in singleplayer part. Mulit part it's current F2P where you pay for many many things (two payable level tiers, multi splitcreen<is it free when you have disc??) etc..)
It's not full game IMHO
 
Bummer. That update does nothing for me. No interest in Karting, already played U3 and Xcom. I don't think Xcom is a particularly good game, and it's been heavily discounted anyway.

I honestly don't know what I was hoping for, but those three aren't it.

I would've liked Sly, as I never played any of those. I was also thinking God of War: Ascension because it's going for quite cheap already, but I guess that would've been too good. Also, disc only - so yeah.
F1 2012 would've been nice, too. Got it on PC, but I wouldn't mind taking a spin on the consoles, especially on a good home theater setup.
 
I can see why Uncharted 3 is in there, but I feel like most have played it by now.

It's one of those "event" games.

'Disappointed' would be too strong a word, but I'm not loving this selection.

Yeah, it's not like Demons Souls, which a lot of people haven't tried. Uncharted 3 shipped almost 4 million copies on its first day. :/ If I was interested in playing it, I certainly would have long ago.
 
The June reveal making me consider subbing again, but have a question.

Does anyone know if the Canadian settlement will interact with this? (Settlement Details) For eg. if I chose the PS plus discount (for those currently not subscribed) as a benefit and subscribe now, then when the time comes to receive benefit, if it falls within June, am I outta luck?

With any luck everything should proceed smoothly and it should wrap up Jun 10, so could receive benefit as early as Mon, but more likely it will drag on, but who knows how long. Will probably wait and play it by year so as to not miss out.

Your update sounds much better to me. Sly would have been a great choice.

Sign up right now before the new games go up. That way you get the current yearly games such as Infamous 2, Little Big Planet 2 and Ratchet and Clank.
