I would be weary of extrapolating to much into the future from the past.
EU+ wasn't always better than NA+

Just checked the PS store (Australia) and found Rayman Origins Vita and Coconut dodge for free today. Never seen any announcement or anything. This is great but I wish Sony got the word out about PS+ better. I feel paranoid abut missing out on the free games and need to check the store at least once a week.
That is why the PlayStation Blog exists.
Technically EU got the Walking Dead Episode 1 too although it wasn't exclusive to PS+ users.

Make sure to always check the PS+ content announcement every month on the PS Blog. These two games for free was announced a few weeks ago in the June PS+ content preview.

Its the first month I am not happy. Most of PS3 users have played U3, and its a massive download ( 87GB for the full digital version, SP only must be around 40-50GB), LBP Karting and X-com dont seem to be good choices, they could have placed Resistance 3, PsAll Star, or many others...

That's not a month per se, those are the games for the 52 weeks. And maybe they're not aiming at "most PS3 users" but "users that are not PS3 users" with this selection.

Yet another great update. Been wanting to play all three games and should have room for them on my 1TB HDD (I advise anyone with + to get a bigger hard drive, my PS3 is like a video game jukebox now, it's awesome).
Can someone tell me if EU is getting Saints Row the Third?
In the other thread it was listed as one of the US June games and people were saying EU was getting it too but I've not seen it confirmed anywhere?

Yes, I understand, but the Uncharted 3 download is utterly massive...Not only it would take hours (if not days or weeks in some places) to download and install, but it would occupy most of any hard drive.
Not only that, but LBP Karting and X-COM are very specific type of games, which I dont think are a good incentive for people to join plus.
Kart racers can meet a fairly broad demographic though. Mario Kart Wii sold over 30 million. LBP Kart is probably meant to be the family friendly choice of the three.

Nope, that's one of the few recent games that has (so far) been US exclusive. Then again, so was Demon's Souls last month, and we got that this month, so who knows?

They prob. want you to share Plus with others/let them try it out.
at least in us you can stack them , nice for x-com, dont reallt care for lbpk, and already got uncharted 3 but i would want to download something that big.
I hoped they would anounce it during their conference but it seems that ps4 will take all the spotlight, i hope a nice vita time too.

Man fuck, I really have to finish those PS+ games, I don't have so much time anymore and I prioritize first on the games I actually bought (but almost caught up now!).

If Sony continues the PS + program with the PS4, I will be a Sony console owner and Plus subscriber for many happy years to come. I have been a sub since November when I picked up a Vita (already had a PS3, but was wary of the Plus program until I tried it). Since then, here are the highlights I have.

Switched in a 750GB HDD today, the process was a lot simpler than I thought it'd be. Gonna start downloading a lot of the games i've "purchased" but never played like Hitman and Bioshock 2.

It seems quite often when I turn anything on (my TV, AV receiver etc come on at the same time through my Harmony remote) quite often the PS3 turns itself on too, and always changes channel on the AV Receiver to the PS3, even when I don't want to use it... is there any way to stop this please?

Already been announced - Uncharted 3, LBP Karting and XCOM. They're being changed next week in the store update.
Really stoked for XCom...been one of those games I have been wanting to buy as soon as I had some time for it. Perfect addition for me.
I think Uncharted 3 is a great addition, they really should have a flagship Sony game at the front lines and this definitely fits the bill. I think it is garbage though that they aren't allowing the full MP experience to be available.
LBPK is, as someone already stated, a good fit because it is family friendly, while also showcasing a Sony franchise and potentially leading to some DLC sales. It is not needed to enjoy the base game though, SP or MP, so it is completely optional. A win-win for both sides.

Just to be sure. If I was given free PS Plus in the aftermath of the network outage, this 30 day trial code I just received will not work for me? That was the only time I was ever a PS Plus member.

If you're in the US, trials stack, so it'll work for you. If you're in the EU, they don't stack.
I think the trophy hunters complained so loudly the last time they released a pre-trophy game that it won't happen again.

Delete games you've finished and don't go back to often. You can always redownload them.

Bought plus today and don't even have my PS3 yet. Wanted to lock in the last games because Rachet and Clank and Vanquish were actually on my buy list. Crazy value. Might have to buy a Vita now...

Urgh yeah, that's really lame if it's true. They should at the very least mix-it-up between trophy and pre-trophy games. I can't fathom the idea of not wanting to play a genuinely good game just cause it doesn't have arbitrary trophies attached to it.
