Can I expect the same games? I'm downloading SR3 right now, but if BF3 is all PSN has to offer for the US in July, I'll be kind of disappointed.

Man, I was all excited for BF3 and Payday. I've been in the mood for a shooter after E3.

They changed it last month to all being updated the same day.
I don't think there's ever been the same games in different regions in the same month before. EU always has a different lineup than US.
But yeah, the PS store on the PS3 is kinda clumsy. You have to start downloading it to mark it as bought I think. Why I like using the computer version, as I can just freely buy stuff on it without then having to cancel the DL for everything. Plus you can do more than one thing at a time.
It's rare for the EU & US PS+ offerings to perfectly match up. We don't usually hear what the US PS+ stuff will be until the Monday before the month starts.

Goddamn those july games. You know Sony really does make Playstation Plus worth it. Glad I just bought a code on Amazon. Really hope to see BF3 here.
It's a great collection, spent a tonne of time with many of the games packed in there. It's got a couple little features like save state and screen size adjustment. There is a bit of (not huge) loading when you select a game from the menu but once you get going it's all smooth. If you're into emulation accuracy I don't know if I have anything worthwhile to say. Since the games run without a hitch and look close enough to my memories for me to not notice anything that may be missing.

1) Search for Jak & Daxter trilogy for PSvite and buy it for free.
2) After you've purchased it the PS3 version will drop in price from 29 to 0.

No, it's the PSV version.
It's a glitch in the system. Not PS+ related. I thought they fixed it already.

BF3 on consoles is literally unplayable for me after I got the PC version. It's depressing. But if you haven't played it before, obviously the free opportunity is enticing.

For those of you with a Japanese account, Sony is giving away 15 free days of Plus. I'm skipping the Vita stuff since I can't be bothered to backup all my stuff, but on PS3 there are games like Neutopia 1/2, something that looks like Echochrome, King of Fighters 94, Lemmings, some wierd dragon game, Maliciois, Datura and House of the Dead 4.
Wow, I won't be paying for Japanese PSPlus anytime soon, but I'll enjoy trying some of that stuff out.
Edit: Looks like you also get 120+ PSX games. Now that's pretty neat

Meh, not a big fan of Battlefield, I know nothing of PayDay or what that's like so that'd be nice to have, already have Saints Row. Vita games are nice, but I'd take Rayman over both myself.
Hoping for a better month in NA, at least for me.
Also, I guess since NA got the GoW games for free as a mistake, it's only fair EU got the Jak games for free as an error. Since I already own the Jak collection, I'd say it's a fair trade

So I take it we know nothing about the US PS+ for July? I should have gone for the Europe PS+...
We'll find out the Monday before the first Tuesday update of July.
I prefer the way they do it for EU, all games given in one or two weeks and notification of new titles weeks before they're put up.

LBP: Karting is a fun racing game, and I don't really get half the hate for it.
Is it a Mario Kart clone? Yeah sort of in certain aspects, even if it is somewhat of a clone it is still a fun game nevertheless.

Going from Sleeping Dogs to Saints Row, I feel like it's a step back, but Saints Row has made me laugh numerous times and I'm only an hour or so in. Different strokes for different folks. The gameplay really doesn't seem that refined, though. L1/R1 for melees and limited movement mechanics really struck me.
Yea, so far the only funny stuff I've seen in Saints Row is just random stuff going down outside of missions. Seems fun so far, shooting is JANK though.
LBPK is actually pretty good, you might like it. ALSO YES XCOM IS AMAZING (framerate issues aside)
Also, I would be very happy with Payday on US plus.
Payday was free already in US, won't happen again.

So I'm strongly considering starting a Plus subscription after seeing all of the great free games now, as well as the ones coming in July. I have a question about exactly how the free games work, though:
I currently game on my roommate's PS3, but will have my own in a couple of months when I move to a new place. I want to have Uncharted 3 available to download and play on the PS3 I've yet to buy -- do I need to "buy" it (and download it now) on the PS store after starting the Plus sub, or is automatically mine to install whenever I want in the future as long as I continue my subscription?
Ideally, I'd like to just "buy" all of the free games I might want to play later without downloading them now, especially if there's a limit on how many times they can be installed. Likewise, can I reserve the free Uncharted Vita game now to possibly download and play on the Vita system I don't yet own but might in the future as a companion device to PS4?

Yup. I've "bought" lots of games only to play them months later. You don't need to start the download though. "Buying" it via say the web store is enough.

You need to 'buy' it on the PS Store (you can do this on the web store as soon as you get PS+) and it will be in your download list as long as your subscription is active.
Basically, you can just purchase all 18~ or so games as soon as you subscribe to Plus today or tomorrow and not have to download a single one of them until you get your PS3 (or Vita). I think people who have been around the IGC since it started probably have at least a hundred games now in their download lists if they kept their subs topped up.

And all those years XBL defenders were telling me it couldn't be done without a subscription, lol.
So what does PS+ offer on PS4? Online multiplayer and IGC?
Yeah pretty sure when my current plus runs out I'm buying an EU subscription.
The games are better, the communication is better, the timing of stuff is better.

How do you obtain the God's Eater Burst DLC? Does it have to be downloaded from the PS3 PSN store, or can I get it right from the Vita PSN store?

Bear with me here, as someone who skipped PS3 and Vita after owning PS1, PS2 and PSP - I have no personal experience with PS+ and have a couple of questions since I'm coming back to Sony for PS4.
1. I hardly ever play online against other people. I just prefer single player games for the most part. Since PS+ offers more than just online play, I assume I would still get good value out of a subscription?
2. If my son and I set up separate user names on the system, can we both play online with those respective user names with one PS+ subscription? I've asked this before in other threads, but I still don't feel like I have a clear picture here.
Thanks in advance for any help. I'm down with $50/year, just hoping I don't have to do that X2 for both of us.

LBPK is basically Mario Kart if it were even slower and had even more broken items, long load times, and less tight physics. The only things I liked about it were some of the songs and a few of the better user created tracks like a PS1 throwback level.
Truth...Sleeping Dogs is infinitely better. I was interested in another open world game I can platinum, but I am no GraveRobberX, can't put up with that BS for trophies.
Also online pass of BF3 is free now on PSN, grab it before EA decides to put BF3 on US PS+ in exchange for removing that online pass.
