Why does PS+ EU get all the good games?

Seems like every month they get something i want but maybe once a year US PS+ gets maybe 1 thing that interest me :-/

There are trade offs. EU doesn't have Toro's Friendly Network yet. God Eater Burst and Dracula X Chronicles are not on the PSN store.

NG and Unit 13 for free is sweet though, I was putting off buying them while I worked on my backlog and I'm glad I did now.

God Eater Burst is available on the EU PSN. I think Dracula X is, and SOTN isn't, but I'm not sure.

Hmm, Saints Row the Third is kinda fun but not engaging to me. Having played and finished Sleeping Dogs (which I thought was brilliant), it's hard to get into such a clunky albeit eccentric game. Still, thanks to Plus I get to try games out like this, so no complaints.

I guess for some reason I thought EU and AU had the same games because of the PAL thing (from AU). It's GEB is most definitely not available for me on the store. SotN is as a PSOne game that can be bought but not Dracula X.

Some are always set in stone, the rest rotate. You have to be a member at the time they're free, and then "buy" them for free for you to permanently have them with the PS+ account.


For the most part, when people talk about games of the month, they'll be up for free a month after they go up. So this week's will be up for free til the end of next month, but then back to a normal game.

LBPK is basically Mario Kart if it were even slower and had even more broken items, long load times, and less tight physics. The only things I liked about it were some of the songs and a few of the better user created tracks like a PS1 throwback level.

I tried a bit of LBPK and was floored by how WORDS WORDS WORDS it was and that it had a tutorial in the form it does. Nintendo can be obnoxiously hand holding at times, but they seem to recognize for some games tutorials really aren't welcome, and that story absolutely ISN'T in Mario Kart.

I upgraded to a 500GB drive and the only advice I got was stick to 5400RPM drives as that is what the PS3 was designed for. 7200RPM may make it run too hot and SSDs are still pricey for the amount of storage you would want was a Plus member.

Although with the past couple months of Plus I may have to upgrade to a bigger drive. I only have like 10GB left.

That is bullshit advice. I've been running 7200rpm drives on both fat and slim PS3's without any issues. They help in some cases like GT5 or Skyrim. A modern 7200rpm drive you'll buy today will use less power and generate less heat than the original 60GB drive the PS3 came with in 2006.

My PS3 is banned from the internet for CFW, and now after two months of PS+ it just occurred to me that I should be adding all the PS3 games to my cart and checking out, so if I get a new PS3 I have all the games. Facepalm.

Still worth it for the Vita stuff so far anyway.

They specifically say that only the digital title will be rotated to begin with too. So a) Driveclub isn't just a game of the month and will probably be around all year (or at least some decent amount of time) and b) don't be expecting Watch Dogs or anything in those early months, it'll just be the smaller games.

We actually knew that #Driveclub was not a game of the month. It's the yearly rotation title for PS4. They mentioned it would be up for about a year at the conference.
