is there wipeout? or eden? or anything else?

i have 30 euros on the account that are asking to be spent!

So cute.

No, that's it, apart from the Naruto demo.

Eden is two weeks away.

Is Elefunk good?

Elephants, dude, elephants. It could be a cleaning-up-elephant-shit simulator and it would still rock.

Where is Wipeout HD? The guy who said it will be uploaded in 3 hours has been banned?
And where is Bionic Commando?

I'll buy elefunk as soon as I'm home. It probably won't even come close to the greatness of Armadillo Run it obviously derived from but I love that type of game.

Who are you asking?

Both were never due this week. WHD is weeks away.

naruto ultimate ninja sturm demo also up @ euro psn
everyone with a PS3 NEEDS to download this demo just to experience its beauty first hand. Even if you're not a fan of the anime or fighting games you need to download it. I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best looking games this gen. It looks EXACTLY like you are in an anime. Simply amazing.

Ok I hae spent some time "researching" Elefunk. Looks like a cute version of bridge builder. I think I will pass and hopt that BC: rearmed will come out soon.

Just had a quick go and it seems quite fun so far, basically the game consists of you trying to build a bridge that will support the weight of an elephant - you begin each level with a certain number of bridge girders to use, but you get deducted points for each one used so you have to try and use as few as possible. There are 4 different 'Themes' in the game, The Mystic Mountain, The Eastern Promise, The Swamplands & The Circus, each theme has 5 levels and a bonus level, which seems a bit on the light side to me (although there is an online store option thats currently locked out, so I presume more Themes will be coming later on). Other than Puzzle mode there is Time Attack mode and Online play, although i'm not sure what that consists of as no-one was playing :p

Overall i'd say it seems like a nice little puzzle game, but the price is a bit much for the content thats there - still, hopefully some reasonbly price DLC will change that. Also, it's a shame there isn't a level create mode like Echochrome, this is the type of game that seems perfect for it.

The LBP Theme is currently in-the works.
Sorry it didn’t make it for tonight’s update, but look for it in the next few weeks.
Sorry for any confusion!

Playstation Blog says this about the Little Big Planet Theme

I wonder if Elefunk will have some levels where you build not only bridges but some other contraptions, like in Armadillo Run. That motorcycle jump level shown in the trailer perhaps?

It looks even better IMO. Much higher framerate! :-D

In fact isn't this game 30FPS? Motion blur and animation fluidity sure as hell make it seem like it's 60 though. But when you rotate the camera around, it kinda looks like 30.

Hmpf. With just 24 levels, extremely simplistic gameplay (compared to other games in the genre Pontifex 2 or Armadillo Run) and no other added value (eg. Trophies, Level Editor or something of that type) I've decided not to buy Elefunk for €8. With my experience in this type of game I'd probably finish it in less than 1 hour.

Well, at least I'll try to resist buying it.

On the other hand, it's not like €8 is that much money.

... yeah, I just bought it. I have zero control when it comes to digital distribution and the instant gratification it provides. All games getting distributed digitally would wreak havoc on my finances.

i'm in the same boat.

i charged 70 euros yesterday in my PSN account for wipeout ( :( ) and i now have 15 euros left...

i was tempted to buy the additional pain's characters and i haven't tried the game yet :lol

Same for me. I have nearly all the PSN games (except the oldies). Less than 10€ for a game (even if it only gives a couple of hours of fun) is very difficult to resist. And is so confortable to finish a mach of MGO or some missions of Oblivion, exit the game and play some minutes one of the several PSN games without need to change the disc... and, for europeans, is quite cheap to buy in the USA store.

The real evil of the PSN is that saves the credit card account. If I had to rewrite each time my account number and security number, probably I should buy less games. But, right now, downloading a full game is as easy as downloading a demo. If they put ever PS2 games in the store, I'll be bankrupted.

I have this strange feeling it's being turned in to a Blu-Ray title. And in all honesty, from what we've seen, it deserves to be. It'll be noticed far more by the mainstream as a retail game.

:lol try that

This game is tough.
Have you ever played Bridge Builder (later renamed to Pontifex)? How does this compare to that game?

I thought Pontifex 2 wasn't as much fun. Went far too deep into over-convoluted territory to be fun for me.
