After having it since launch day, I am really enjoying it. But I do feel a little dissapointed but at the same time excited about it. I think my disappointment comes from the fact that the headset is NOT as comfortable as the original PSVR. I have used several headsets for the last 5 years and found the PSVR to be the most comfortable, so it was dissapointing that the PSVR2 is not as comfortable. The second thing is that the Sweet Spot is easily found, but very narrow. I can usually line it up quickly, but still wish the sweet spot was bigger.
I also feel that the perceived resolution is not as good as the actual resolution that they state. I think they made some cutbacks to get to a better price and cut some corners. When you read the advertised resolution, it seems like it should be a lot better than the Quest 2, but in some regards, things appear cleaner on the Quest 2. Overall, I think it is better than the Quest 2, but at the end of the day I guess I was expecting a bit more for the price. Still loving it and looking forward to them making more dedicated games (Sony needs to step up and announce stuff they are bringing to the PSVR2). I also wish that the controllers used standard AA batteries like the Quest 2/PRO. These things only lasting for about 4 hours is a bit of a letdown. Granted, not many people will play that long, but I tend to have family get togethers and everyone wants to try it out and them lasting 4 hours does not give enough time for everyone to enjoy it.
Eyelashes. Seriously, your eyelashes carry oils that come from your skin. As well as any dust/debris/dirt that may have gotten in your eye otherwise.
Yep. One area Q2 has it beat. The controllers having low battery life is a pain in the ass just like the dualsense. Moreso, I get unreliable charging with them and I can pick one up from charging and it'll still be dead. I'd consider getting some upgraded capacity batteries.
How about that official charging station tho lol. Rave reviews!
Okay. I have a complaint. Apparently my nose is sensitive and the little rubber piece tickles it. A lot. Not sure what is going on or what I can do about it.
I’m quite sure we can safely say that the Quest 3 will not have better hardware than the pro. You think that their 1100 dollar device will be worse than their next budget device?
I think it is a combination of how light the material is and that it rubs. It's kind of weird and annoying since I can't really scratch my nose. I have used my finger to poke it up a bit once the headset is on and that seems to help. It is not a perfect solution but it helps. You think it's the material or the light rubbing? Or do you get stronger rubbing if the lens units are bumping up to your nose?

Anyone gonna give this a go?

Same. I see it when looking for it, and then I can't shake it, but its not an issue while Engrossed. If I can limit it, I'm all for it, but not at the expance of wearing sunglasses. Could something Similar be achived via Software, a Digital Filter as such?Interesting, I wonder if different colours are more pronounced on different headsets or is it green on all.
Personally I do see mura just like I could on PSVR1 but Im in the camp of it doesn't bother my as I hardly notice when playing.
If it is available, Its usually well hidden. Go to Moss Book II and click the 3 dot menu. Is it in there?Moss Book I and II is not available as a bundle in Europe as far as I can tell. I haven't played either of the games, is it worth buying them both or should I just buy the second game?
PistolWhip is my #1 so far.HOLD THE FUCK UP, GT7 IS NOT THE "KILLER APP" FOR VR, SYNTH RIDERS EXPERIANCES ARE. HOLY SHIT.
Guys get Pavlov get Pavlov get Pavlov it’s insanely fun.
Also the 3D audio with this , is it different to the tempest because it’s unbelievable
You are correct! It is available as a different "edition" of the game! Thanks! If it is available, Its usually well hidden. Go to Moss Book II and click the 3 dot menu. Is it in there?
Cool. I remember it being a bollock to find pre-release, nice to see its still hard to find. You are correct! It is available as a different "edition" of the game! Thanks!
Leaning seems to work on Pistol Whip for me, if that helps. And Synth Riders is well worth it - it’s my fave VR game atm. I really like Pistol Whip as well, but just find Synth Riders a little less intense. Is Synth Riders worth it?
Also, I'm really enjoying Pistol Whip but the obstacles have been a pain so far. Ducking is fine but I've found it hard to avoid the ones on the left and right - not sure if its a tracking issue but even physically stepping to the left or right doesn't always work.

Yeah, a demo for SR would be ideal because it really does sell itself after just one go. I’m glad I took the punt, but demos definitely help when there is so much choice. From what I can see it looks like Synth Riders puts you on a moving track almost like a ride, and you pass over / past objects and lights are flying everywhere - but Beat Saber just looks a lot more basic? I kinda like the journey you see in the Synth Rider videos more, but haven't played either of them yet. I'm kinda surprised they don't have demos either, they seem like ideal games, just have one or two songs unlocked like Puzzling Places.
Have $7.27 in the wallet. Will see if i get something else. Want to try nms but i think i will wait for another update.
Yes. It doesn't have a mute button though which is the biggest change and flaw with the headset imo.Does the headset has a microphone?
Yeah, it doesDoes the headset has a microphone?
You can actually change the function button from passthrough to mute/unmute mic, but having both would be better, of course.Yes. It doesn't have a mute button though which is the biggest change and flaw with the headset imo.
Didn't know that. Will have to use that for certain games. You can actually change the function button from passthrough to mute/unmute mic, but having both would be better, of course.
