That's the first thing I thought of. It would be great if it was the collision of mythologies for God of War, but that doesn't seem to fit. My assumption is its a new IP from Santa Monica.

That pic looks like something colliding into earth. You can see a pressure wave in the middle that is traveling away from the collision. I think these two are related.
