I want to play (and if possible buy) only the best of the best of the best. Dont want to waste my time downloading thousands of ROMs and play mediocre or bad working games.

For multi-console games which is the best version and which emulators are the best. MAME included, hopefully it will run on the PSP soon.

so I just request some recommendations for the best SNES, NES, MegaDrive, PC-Engine, GBC games available.

Alright, now I'm going to assume you mean outside linking to emulation sites and whatnot...what about linking to posts on this board regarding good games on specific platforms?

I dont want any links or whatever and I dont support pirating. I usually buy all the games I play. I lately played Perfect Dark on an emulator just to see what all the fuzz is about. The first thing I did was to get me the original cartridge from ebay.
