Caught a Dragonite that is 97% IV
Level 2 though
How bad will the stardust grind be if I want to keep it?

120.000 to bring it from level 2 to 30.
Plus you'll need a lot of dratini candy.Welp and all I have is 101,000 stardust at the moment.

I'd keep that one but not level it up yet.
120 candyDo you know how much candy? I currently have 40 and my work is located by a body of water so I expect to get a few Dratinis a day.
I tried using online calculator online but can someone help out with my IV check?
My Dragonite has 32 HP, requires 1 candy and 200 stardust to power up, cp is 158, weight 207kg, height 1.96m.
Damn, I don't even have anything better then a 95% Dragonite. Still looking for a 100% Dratini.
Def keep that one. Do you already have a good Dragonite? That will require a LOT of stardust and candy, as previously mentioned. But if you don't have an already good one, you should consider powering it up.
Is there a way to track raids anywhere? Pretty sure disneyland is the best spot down here in OC for having guaranteed amount of people doing raids
This game really needs a way to see if people are waiting to battle the raid boss without using a pass. Ran across a couple people who wasted passes because not enough people showed up in time.
DTLA is definitely not a great place to raid apparently. So far 0 for every attempt at a legendary. Yikes!
If you fail as a group, you can enter again without using an additional pass. Couldn't others then join in when they enter the lobby the second time?
Hmm. Can you take a screenshot of your top Pokémon? This could help us determine if you should go ahead and power up that Dragonite or not. Or at least tell us your top 6 with their respective CP.It's my only Dragonite, yea I'm expecting the Stardust grind to destroy my spirits
So who should I power up for Mewtwo? I've already got Tyranatar with Dark/Dark to lvl 30 and Dragonite with Dragon/Dragon to lvl 30. I have some Gengars and Houndoom with 80+ IVs but stardust is so limited I'm not sure what's going to be best
I would hit as many Tyranitar raids as you can until Mewtwo actually shows up and asses then. Maybe hit up a houndour nest for candy.

How many people are needed for each raid?
I tried taking on Charizard with one other person and we got crushed.
Sorry can't screenshot and upload at the moment. My top 2 mons are Vaporeon (CP1531) and Aerodactyl (CP1414) both with "Overall is decent" CP messages. I'm level 22. I'm pretty sure this Dragonite is the best mon I have at the moment despite it being at level 2.
Welp, my interest in Raiding is at an all time low now that Niantic has pretty much nerfed the rewards. Just had a TTAR raid where all I got was potions and revives along with the TTAR running away.
I mean really? Instead of adding potions to the revive pool Niantic decides to add it to the ENTIRE loot pool along with reducing the amount of Golden Razz and Rare Candy.
No way I"m spending money on Raid passes until this gets fixed.
It feels like I'm playing Destiny TTK when it first came out where it was possible to get nothing from the Raids.

Find level 25-30 Eevees and do the trick to evolve them into Umbreon. Then power them up to 30.
Umbreon is probably not the strongest choice for Mewtwo, but you can raise an army of them without spending a lot of dust. I don't see the point in sinking 70,000 dust into a Gengar or Houndoom, to be honest.
Also check the Silph Road Atlas to see if there are any local Houndour nests. See if you can get some high level ones from there.

not a lot of dust... but don't you have to walk each eevee you want to become umbreon after the first (aka you can use the name trick) at least 10km?
Yes, certainly. If you want an Umbreon, you will have to walk each Eevee at least 10KM. I still think that's a better situation than having to sink 70,000 dust into every Tyranitar you got from a raid.
Got a shitty IV lvl 30 Umbreon that has a DPS of 35. My lvl 20 TTar from a raid has 25 DPSHow much more DPS does a level 30 Umbreon do than a level 20 Tyranitar?
Does it do more damage? A casual glance at numbers seems to indicate a freshly caught Ttar outclasses Umbreon without any investment.
That's not the real DPS. DPS should account for a prolonged battle with average weave damage and received damage because of the charge attack cooldowns and charge meter mechanics.Got a shitty IV lvl 30 Umbreon that has a DPS of 35. My lvl 20 TTar from a raid has 25 DPS
Umbreon is a DPS beast just like Alakazam and Gengar
I'm taking the values from the Calcy IV. I don't know what it takes into account but I'm pretty sure they do calculate attack cooldowns and charge meter into it.That's not the real DPS. You said Umbreon lol
And I don't think Calcy IV does because DPS is variable depending on the opposing Pokemon and its moves.
FINALLY

Only took 2156 Magikarp caught to get this medal, lol.
Damn, I'm not sure I've even caught that many Pokemon, let alone Magikarp ;__;FINALLY

Does the current cp of the Mon affect the IV percentage? I'm afraid of wasting stardust to test this on a mon with a lower percentage that may not be affected by maxing out the cp.
Also, do the IV percentages carry over once a mon evolves? Can I invest my stardust on the first form of a kon with a great IV?
Last question: better to feed stardust to a mon before or after it evolves? Or does it not matter.
