The graphics are below par for the console generation at the time, as usual, but it will sell because Pokémon because is Pokémon. It would be great if every single Pokémon from previous generations would be available in-game without the need to transfer, but we'll see.

They're really just gonna keep shitting these out huh? Might as well make it a yearly series now. Any hope of this series not being horribly mismanaged should be long gone by now.

An open world Pokemon game... didn't we get one of those like, yesterday? How's releasing another one just a few months later a good idea?

I find it weird how casually they release mainline Pokemon games these days.
I find it more infuriating than weird. Game Freak used to take their time making the mainline games. There was a two-year gap between Red/Blue and Yellow, and a four-year gap between Red/Blue and Gold/Silver. These days, they treat the series as if it were Call of Duty or FIFA.

Arceus has been surprisingly addicting (despite being shockingly ugly), but it was also the first Pokemon game I've played in 3 generations because of how samey they'd all gotten. The good news is that this one seems to be keeping at least some of Arceus' gameplay improvements. Even so, it just really feels too soon for a new one. I mean, Arceus isn't even a month old yet.

Maybe by the time it comes out I'll be ready for a new one, or maybe I'll just go dormant again, watch each entry sell millions without me, and wait for the series' next gameplay jump. *shrug*

Graphics are shockingly bad in this trailer... Hoping the game is more to my liking than SW/SH and gets rid of dynamax.

Nintendo's 2022 lineup keeps getting more abs more insane. I was sure Gen 9 would be their big 2023 game but I guess not. Maybe they will shed more light at E3.

Grass starter looks good.

The others… not so much.
But the water one is the best...

Damn, i still haven't finished ultra sun, and then I was going to play Crystal (3DS), and then move to Sword + DLC, and then Brilliant Diamond, and then Arceus, and now I have to do even more with Gen 9 - probably going Violet.

Ugly as a cow butthole!!

But... SPRIGATITO lmaooooo I'M DYING OUT OF LAUGH, ESTOY FLIPANDO! What an stupid name is that? Come on, can't believe, I'm laughing so hard because of it LMAOOO

because gamefreak is unable to give a fuck.

same gen
To be fair, nothing comes close to Golden Sun in the GBA... Maybe Zelda A Minish Cap? Probably just artistically, even then Pokemon looked very good back in time, it's just today that GF are showing this incompetence... They should leave these games to more competent people, but they have no reason to, honestly

This is coming way sooner than expected.
Seems to be a mix of traditional Pokemon with some ideas carried over from Arceus which is nice, and while the visuals still aren't great at least it doesn't look nearly as horrible as Arceus

Sprigatito

I know people say this every gen but these really are the worst starters yet.
Those design and names........they literally look like Neopets-
