I skipped X/Y because it just didn't appeal to me, but this is awesome!
Ruby is what got me back into Pokemon after skipping Gen 2 and I loved it, definitely getting this day 1.

Ruby and Emerald, I think put together I had like 600+hrs on them or something, oh man so much fun.

Remake/sequel/whatever to Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Most teens/early twenty-somethings started with that gen so there's a lot of nostalgia there.

But I thought most fans hated Hoenn's world becuase it had too much water or something like that.
