A concerned passer-by called 911 to report that a boy had entered Marshall Junior High School carrying a long, narrow object wrapped in white cloth.
Four law enforcement agencies responded to the scene, locked down the school, searched the building and students' lockers and finally called a meeting with students.
One student came forward to fill them in, Clovis Police Sgt. James Schoeffel said.
Law enforcement officers were relieved to find the boy and the object - a 21/2-foot-long burrito.
