This primary has definitely been an interesting comparison to 2004, when democratic voters absolutely caved in on Kerry because he was a "winner" and could take out Bush, despite no one actually liking Kerry. I guess republican voters are quite a bit more uncompromising.

Isn't this essentially the same thing? Nobody in the GOP really seems to like Romney. It seems like he's only there because he seems the most moderate and the most capable at winning over independents.

They made the same compromise with McCain. The morning that Obama won, talk show hosts like Limbaugh went nuts and claimed that Repbulicans had learned their lesson, and wouldn't keep compromising their values to appeal to the middle......because they did that with McCain and he lost. Now here we are 4 years later and it looks like once again they are picking someone less extreme, more appealing to the middle.

Nothing really related but I'm stoked that my old school (UNF) is the venue. SWOOOOP

Why? You won't be able to get tickets, and the campus is going to be a nightmare if you actually have to go to class that day. International news media will be swarming every inch of campus, and you'll probably have to park at the Town Center and walk 2 miles to go to class :P

Self deportation does not work. It has never worked. They are having children here. They have education and free healthcare for their low income citizen babies. They are not leaving.
