Everyone's just a tad on edge with the election coming up, and interest in political subjects is naturally high, but let's try to show some restraint in posting new topics. Let's not jump on every single quote, endorsement, or flash animation we find. Also, we probably don't need another "Michael Moore/Ann Coulter, good or bad?" thread right now.
The flood of topics is annoying for people who aren't interested, and I don't want to see a movement for a unified thread or separate forum. Also, the quality of the discussion seems to decline a bit, which bothers the erudite and elitist (though generally benign) mods.
So I'm counting on you guys to show enough self-control that I'm not tempted to implement a bunch more of my arbitrary gimmick rules (like the poll one).
Since discussion of forum policy is strictly verboten, any replies to this topic should be on the subject of Pride and Prejudice A&E vs. Pride and Prejudice BBC.
