Hot of course. I like pretty much any flavor, but my current box is Frosted Cherry since it was on sale at Target. I like Apple Cinnamon and S'mores a lot as well.

Also, this is done in the toaster oven. Microwave? Wtf? Savages.

hmm, frosted brown sugar cinnamon is only way to go. Toast, and put a little butter on top. Best there is.
