Popeyes chicken

Based on how much better the image quality is when the white guy shows up I imagine this is fake, right?

I'm not in the US but we have Popeyes and KFC here and Popeyes is definitely much better as far as fast food chicken goes, and their cajun fries are awesome. It actually tastes and looks like chicken while KFC now serves something that honestly feels like some undefined chicken flavored blob

It really isn't that good. At the end of the day, it's a pile of greasy shit and white meat underneath it. People seems to prefer popeyes over kfc because it'saltier and their biscuit is decent.

Yeah, I'm like 99% sure. He appears to be in a different location than the others interviewed and it seems likely that his indifference is supposed to be a straight man to the strange reactions about not having chicken.

Well then I'll have to give it a shot someday soon. KFC is just kind of bleh and there's not much substance to it (potatoes are ok though imo). There's a chicken place that's connected to a gas station near me that is honestly much better in quality.

So one saying yay and another saying nay. So you don't like fried chicken in general or are you saying both such chains are low quality?

They are shitty food that can cut down your lifespan every time you consume it? It's like asking which joint has a better fast food burger. Mcdonalds or wendys.

Both are fast food restaurants, cooked by minimum wage employees. You get what you pay for is all I'm saying.

Fair enough, but I like fried chicken as an occasional treat and I enjoy things like hamburgers and brats. A good piece of chicken or a burger really can melt in the mouth (Milwaukee burger makes some truly fantastic sandwiches!). So respectfully I disagree, but I would like to know your favorite way to have chicken or other types of poultry.
 
I like how the white dude is like yeah no biggie. I'll go grab a pizza.

everyone else tho is all sorts of upset and appalled.

To be fair the dude is right. It's fast food fried chicken, it's never going to be healthy or particularly good.
I'm just saying, as far as cheap fast food fried chicken goes at least around here Popeyes is a whole lot better.

KFC is soggy and the batter is more snug to the chicken. Popeyes has this big spiderweb kind of batter that makes it look bigger. But chicken wise it's not. Because Popeyes chicken has so much crunchy batter, you get more of a crunch to it.

Yeah fast food in general isn't exactly high quality, but I still do have preferences. It doesn't compare to say something at a restaurant but sometimes things can surprise you and I like trying different things when I can.
 
The sandwich is actually really, really good. Not worth killing, nor dying over, but damn if it ain't tasty. Go with the spicy one, though.
 
Popeye's is good chicken. I mean, it's not "oh shit the world is ending they got no chicken" good, but it's just...good.

Better than KFC for me. I can see why people love KFC's recipe, but i just feel it tends to leave the chicken soggy or something.
 
I tried to buy some Popeyes yesterday but I was short $2, felt bad man almost cried in the store. Had to settle for cheap Wal-Mart fried chicken.
 
After tryin Popeyes, Bojangles and most recently Grimes, I gotta go with Grimes.

I thought Popeyes was supposed to be spicy? Naw, but Grimes was, and it tasted great.

Looks like Grimes's chicken is a local place, sorry people.

KFC in the states is disgusting, up here in the north it used to be good, now it's overpriced and disgusting.

When I went to florida I tried popeye's and it was overpriced as hell and disgusting. Especially served with mashed potatoes and no gravy? Wtf is wrong with you folks down there.

As much as I like Popeyes and also I don't terribly mind KFC... both of them give me upset stomach. Must be the grease they use or whatnot - but I don't feel well after eating fast food fried chicken.... :(

I used to say this, now even their biscuits are inconsistent.

Thank god for local joints who know how to make proper fried chicken. These franchises are simply out of touch. Every blue moon I'll have no choice but eat at one immediately reminding me why I quit 'em.
 
Popeyes blows and the ones around me never have the shit from their commercials when I go. It really feels like it's getting pumped up just because people hate chikfila so much, even though I'm guessing no one has ever been killed going there.
