This is a work in progress, I think a good thread on a city is always like that though. People find great places or unique holes in the wall and it's best to share them. (Gonna add some great pics I got from xxracerxx too.) If you have stuff to add feel free to pm me or post them, also notify me of any broken links =).

Down to Funny - happens monthly at the East Burn.
Weekly Recurring Comedy Night - Whitney Streed's showcase at the Tonic Lounge
Funnier on the Inside - TARDIS Room just started their own monthly showcase
No Joke - Not as regular as it used to be. Now at the Fixin' To
Portland as Fuck - Ian Karmel's showcase (not too many of these left) at the Hawthorne Theatre
Tristian Spillman hosts a night at the Bagdad every week (first time I saw Anthony was at one of those showcases)
Down & Dirty Comedy - Patrick Perkins hosts this at the Ash Street every month. Bit of a sicker/more twisted focus.

Bicycling
Portland, OR might be one of the friendliest/convenient bicycling communities in the country outside of a few others. There are a plethora of bike paths for the road/mountain biking communities, not too mention a bunch of bike parking (see the bike corral image above). Sure the weather is not always the driest but that doesn't stop most people from getting on their bike and riding for pleasure/commute/exercise. Below find a map of the best routes to take while on your bicycle here.
Public Transportation
Trimet as well as the Portland Street Car (map not included) offers you easy ways to get around the city either by Max train, Streetcar, or bus. And what is also great, is each of these options allow you to put your bike on in one way or another in case you are too tired (or in most cases drunk).
