our cat modhu:

my betta fish ashurbanipal. he died last night. i dont know what happened, i changed the water weekly, fed him daily. but he kept floating up to the surface and stopped eating for the last few days, so i sorta knew he was dying. i'll get another one, but i felt very sad.

For some reason that pic looks fake... I can't put my finger on it though (it looks photoshopped)... really unsettling looking at it. I think it may have to do with their heads look too large for their bodies.

I don't have a pet of my own, but at home there are two minature wiener dogs, plus a cat that whenever I go home, looks like a huge monster. I didn't realize he was that big, until I left for a while and came back.

Lathentar is my hero now. my family used to have a basset hound up until 2 or 3 years ago. They are adorable pets. Impossible to get angry at even if they destroyed your Mario plush doll or left a pile of crap in your room.

My mother has had a Basset 90% of her life. I've had a Basset 99% of mine (only 6 months where I didn't have one). I love them to death. It so great that they get so happy when you're in the room, but they don't run up and bug the hell out of you like a Beagle would. Bassets are the best, they understand that you're there, they'll wag their tail, but getting up out of their comfortable spot is so not worth it.

Our dog (Named Flash after the basset from Dukes of Hazard) was pretty fat. She didn't move or go anywhere that she didn't want to; she was impossible to move. Very stubborn. :lol

Irish setters look better as they age. My dog's 7 and cute as hell. Too bad I don't have a digital camera
