Yes. It’s still a Subaru/Toyota joint venture, so there will be a 2022 Toyota 86 as well. The boxer engine is getting an upgrade from 2.0L to 2.4L. We should find out if the 2.4L will be naturally aspirated at around 225HP or if it will be turbo charged, or both, offered in different packages. There are already STI and TRD versions, but the upgrades are in the brakes and suspension only. Toyota already has the 255HP Supra 2.0 sitting at $43k, so there isn’t much wiggle room for Toyota to get too crazy with the 86. The current 2020 86 GT with the TRD package is around $32k. I’m leaning that the new engine will be naturally aspirated, but maybe tuned to around 230HP. A nice little upgrade from the current 205HP.
Here is my 2017 Toyota 86 860 Special Edition, with TRD exhaust and TRD cold air intake.
While I generally like the 991.1, the 991.2 and 992 both look better to me. The disorganized lines around the 991.1's front lights kill it for me.
I think the 993 Turbo is the epitome of 911 Turbo design.
That said, for "affordable" 911s, I think the 991.1 Carrera S / Carrera 4S reached a design peak.
Yeah this thing looks badass.Seen the other Day, mate black with high gloss carbon bodyparts just works beautifully together. It's brutal irl. Damn.
I want oneLotus Emira
$82k for the V6 supercharged version...I want one
Has anyone here had a project car? This is my NA Miata (right up front) that I’ve been building for a couple years. Hopefully when it’s done it’ll have a Honda K24 motor and a Getrag 6 speed manual. And a fastback hardtop.
95? Sick. ST205 is my favorite gen. I almost bought/imported a GT-Four before they became prohibitively expensive here in USA.Kinda. Mines more of a custom coffin than a project. It's a 95 Celica with a 'ge. I only spend money on it when I absolutely need to and it's got a lot of 'character'.
I need to cough it up for a full exhaust. I found the primary section of an old rsr header in fucking Dubai on ebay. That only too 6 years on looking ... So I paid dearly for that and I should get it up in there. The system I got corks a good chunk of the top end. The correct stock exhaust should do 200hp and my butt can tell you it ain't near that now.
And that a beautiful na you got there.

RSR make rad stuff, I was looking at an RSR catback for this NA about a year ago but the shipping from Japan was just nuts. So I passed. Glad you ended up finding one after looking so long. 6 years is a lot of searching ebay and Yahoo auctions haha.
And cheers bud I'm real happy with how it's coming out.
if all goes right I'll be getting one next year
Spyder '22.A boxter spyder?
Damn my boy Bartski. I've heard they have amazing engines and drive super well. Way out of my price range and I prefer the rounder headlights of the 911 cars, but why exactly that model if I may ask? I have no idea about the price of the Boxter Spyder (is it still in production or only used?). The 992 Targa 4 GTS is probably still a good chunk more expensive I'd reckon
