If you aren't already aware, Peter F. Hamilton is writing an official tie-in to the game. The first book is published already and the 2nd is coming out in early 2026.

I bought the book on Kindle. Haven't read it yet. Everything about this game is up my alley. The Time Dilation causing humans to diverge and become different species. Genetically enhanced animals with the intelligence of humans. All brilliant ideas. Can you imagine how much danger humans would be in if some of these super predators like Tigers and Bears had human level intelligence?

On top of the list

- Divinity above anything else, despise the fact that I wasn't exactly ecstatic about the trailer. I hope we'll see at least an Early Access before the end of 2026.
- Warhammer 40K Total War.Never been thebiggest fan of the TW series, but this one hits the right spot.
- The Expanse
- Dark Heresy
- Blood of the Dawnwalker. I'm expecting it to be... Let's say less than perfect in some areas (like combat), but I've also seen enough to be vaguely confident I'll enjoy MOST of it.

Fate of the Old Republic is probably five years away and for how I see it it's a bit of a joke that people are getting hyped about it now.

There's a bunch.
- Control: Resonant
- Gang of Dragon
- Both Tomb Raider games
- Exodus
- Phantom Blade 0
- No Law
- The Blood of Dawnwalker
- 007 First Light

Normally I'd also put Divinity, Fate of the Old Republic and Requiem on there too, but Divinity needs to sell me on its gameplay. BG3 was my first Larian game as well as my CRPG and while I can totally see why it got so much praise and got enthralled by most of the game's features, I just couldn't get into the combat. I stopped when I was somewhere around a shadow forest area or something, I think that's before Act 2? I'll probably fire it up again at some point but I really hope that Divinity is less of that and maybe something more "traditional" like Witcher 3, but this is probably a very unpopular opinion lol.

With FOTOR my hype died immediately once I read Jason's report that it might not even come out in 2030. And Requiem while looking great I still haven't finished catching up on the rest of the series, only played 2 and 3 remake.

Still, it's a great list. Control and Gang of Dragon are definitely the ones I'm most excited about. There's more if I look a little further out like Witcher 4, Cyberpunk 207something or the next Persona and what have you, but I'm focusing more on the immediate future.

In no particular order.

Nioh 3
Ace Combat 8
Divinity
Stranger than Heaven
The Eternal Life of Goldan
Threads of time
Witcher 4

Cautiously optimistic, but far from sold, on:
007 First Light
Crimson Desert
The Blood of Dawnwalker
Tides of Anihilation
Phantom Blade Zero
Exodus
That Expande Game
Judas
That GOT RTS game.
No Rest for the Wicked

Onimusha: Way of The Sword
Phantom Blade 0
Crimson Desert
Judas
Ace Combat 8

This for sure has TBD written all over it, as with most years I don't believe the best looking 2026 games are even on anyone's radar yet.

Immediate impulse buy after seeing the trailer. Hope it's good lol.
I'll think about the rest of the list later.
