Post your Christmas haul, post what you gave.

Here is a place we can post what we give and get. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ and spending time with family.

But it is also about giving to others and receiving gracefully. So post what you gave and received.

This isn’t even everything from my family and the grand parents.

Just a close up picture, as the living room looks like a bomb has hit it, and we have loads that hasn't been wrapped up yet.
So whilst I'm fast asleep tonight my missus will be busy wrapping up the rest (as my wrapping is shocking)

I probably have three games somewhere in there for me, and then literally everything else will need to be hauled over to my parents tomorrow for them and my siblings who will be round for dinner and card games etc :)

For some reason my partner seems think you make less effort with birthdays and go bigger at Christmas what makes no sense at all to me 😔

I've purchased so many games this Christmas and they are not even for me and I don't have them for myself yet 😭😭

I can't take pics because we're celebrating at my woman's parents' house. So, all of the physical gifts are already over there. But I gave $200 to each my nephews and nieces, $70 to my best friend in PSN credit and also a $100 Amazon gift card. I bought my girl some obscenely expensive purse from Coach that I am ashamed to admit how much I spent on it. And I guess that's it.

My friend gifted me several games on Steam, like Willy Morgan. I know my girl is getting me an Apple Watch with a metal band. My brother's wife got me a really nice scarf from Ireland, thick wool, probably the nicest scarf I've ever seen.

I hope you all get a bunch of goods.

No pics as this year is really a poor man’s Christmas. Still settling in our new home. But baby girl will get her long wished Barbie House (and I know, who will have to assemble it later .. wish me luck) while her older brother finally gets his second monitor to chat with his friends while taking out terrorists in Counterstrike. Missus and I “gifted” us the repair of our car to finally get to know the country we’ve chosen better. Viva Mexico!

Do you need any more friends?

It ain't the size or cost of the haul man. Sounds like your kids have a very loving father.

One of my nieces wants to follow in my footsteps and work in tech or IT. She's actually really talented programming in Ruby and Python - at only 13. So my brother and I pitched in to get her a Lenovo laptop with Linux preinstalled, but now I have to teach her how to navigate Linux.

I remember when she was five and I helped her build a doll house. I miss those simpler days. I know I am going to sound like an old man, but wow are kids advanced these days. Like I didn't even see javascript until I was in college. Now kids are talking about full stack development at 13.

i got £50 of eshop vouchers, £20 in a card, some shavers for shaving my baldy head and my beard, a bunch of clothes mostly shirts/jackets, and the usual sets of deodrant/body wash. oh and a new pair of shoes.

bought a few games with the £50 eshop voucher. witcher 3, va-11 hall-a, and persona 5 strikers. i already have them on PC but was planning on buying them again anyway or playing around the house. i did think about buying the new pokemon game. i was never going to buy it with my own money but decided against it. i'll have way more fun with those 3 games.

with the £20 i put that towards a few kindle books i had in my wish list and preordered a tv bluray box set (his dark materials season 3). it came to about £50 so i spent the £30 of my own money.

What a Christmas. My mother in law had a wreck. Person pulled out in front of her. Went to go help her came home to the pipes in my garage busted and garage flooded.

What a day. But all is good. All are safe. We are blessed.
That’s what matters. Is that due to the cold temperatures? I saw this thing on Joe Rogan where pipes try to keep water at a certain temperature and the water is going crazy because it wants to freeze. Which is what causes the pipe to burst. Water is expanding.

Probably because of the cold. But it has been cold here before and no issue. I assume the are pvc. Pex can expand and rarely breaks in the cold. Thankfully just in the garage.

I just drove my MIL home and she is good.

Overall great Christmas just with some crazy side effects at the end of the day.

My drawing room looks like a bomb hit it, hell the entire downstairs looks terrible as I had everyone over to ours for xmas dinner & drinks, drink bottles and Lego everywhere, now to begin the boxing day clean up, Santa brought a PS5, loads of Lego Harry Potter sets to go with all the other sets he brought last year and numerous other shite, I got chocolate and some other random shite :-(

I feel incredibly lucky that I can give my kids a safe, warm and toy filled Xmas with all the shit that's going on in the world, anyways I'm away to make chocolate pancakes and get Lego feet. Hope youse all had a great one.

Made a crappy phPBB forum once ... once.
Impressive hauls here to be fair.

I don't have a photograph as its only me in the house but I got (I'm old too) smellies, socks, boxers, PlayStation voucher (£50) a set of screwdriver bits, two books, some chocolate and some new Airpod Pro 2's.

Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
An online friend gave me enough money to buy Trails from Zero.

That was pretty much my only Christmas gift from anyone but it was super nice.

My dad just passed away a month ago so the holidays.hasn't exactly been that good for me this year, just say the least.
