Do you guys really let your cats up on your desks? It looks like one of you had a long-hair calico on your math textbook, and another had a bed in the corner of their desk? I just don't get this. Most people would not let their dog traipse around these places where they let cats go, but somehow its alright. I am not asking in a demeaning way at all, I just point blank don't get it myself. I feel like I am missing a key part of it. Cats shed like hell, and after their paws were just in their kitty litter, they are walking all over your books, keyboards, and even tables/counters where people eat. If I had a cat and it did that, no would be the first time, the cat would be hung from the wall after that.
I dunno, it just seems gross to me. This is coming from a duder who has always had non-shedding dogs like a medium schnauzer and a lhasa apso where they are bathed weekly, always groomed, and never allowed these places cats are.

I do, but the same thing just happens. I'm doing work at my desk get bored and just start writing on it.

It's pretty old and it pales in comparison to some of the newer 21 inch models, but it does it job well enough.
You must have never used one for a good portion of time. It's very hard to go back. I feel very claustrophobic on other single monitor setups now when I try and multitask.
