I think what's most telling is that I've only actually played to completion or put a good chunk of time in the ones with * next to them, while I've played the majority of my games for all other systems. Most of the launch games (Genji/Gundam/P8, etc...) were crap and a lot of the first year stuff sucked.
early 2008 looks way better with actual great games I will definitely play through from start to finish like DMC4/Disgaea3/Ryu Ga Gotoku 3/MGS4, etc...
