Used to watch the cartoon back in the day, along with Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. Good shows.
Interested to see what Mojo Jo-Jo looks like. My sister named our cat after him. MotherF*cker is still alive 20 years later.

I always pictured Bubbles as Asian for some reason. Whatever not going to watch it, but I'm sure if people got into Riverdale they might like this?

I'm in for the Riverdale-style craziness. The worst case scenario is that they treat it like The Flash(after season 2) or Supergirl, however from what I'm reading one of the production teams also had a hand in Scrubs and Donald Faison is here, so we'll see how it ends up.

CW has a stigma about it but sometimes they can spit out something great or bonkers.

Greens’ outfit looks like it’s from pound land, but blue is looking like she’d be a great fuck.

Looks dumb but the real killer of the show is that there is no way mojojo can be as good as his voice actor in the show. It’s impossible.

Tag, you're it.
Already rebooted:

Deadline confirms that Powerpuff is not going to series at The CW...yet. The network isn't giving up on the project, but it sounds like the pilot didn't come together the way they hoped.
As a result, writers and executive producers Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier are rewriting the pilot, and it sounds like the whole thing is going to be reshot.
On the plus side, there are no plans to change the cast, with Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, Yana Perrault, and Donald Faison all still attached as of right now (time will tell whether that changes).

Warner Bros. TV Group President Channing Dungey last week said:
"We’ve got a trio of terrific actresses at the center of [Powerpuff]. I’m not going to say that it hasn’t been a challenge.
Bringing a children’s cartoon into live-action adulthood has been a really fine like to walk, but I think we’ve done a pretty great job walking it."

If it isn’t blatantly obvious by this revelation, they’re just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks at this point.

If I’m not mistaken the CW did the same with the Lost Boys show, which has still yet to come to fruition.

This kinda smells like a big tax write off ploy by CW or some attempt to keep the rights from reverting. Who ever thought this would work with this creative team?

An early script has supposedly been leaked on era and it's a goddamn trainwreck if legit. They went out of their way to make them super sluts and drug addicts.
That sounds so awful it has to be fake. It's almost like the people running this "project" were blatant about being grifters and just getting paid without doing anything.

But yeah, another prime example of modern-day entertainment ideas.

This is the cw we are talking about. It wouldn't suprise me to see them sexualize a children's show.

How does the CW even make money with such low viewership?
The shows cost relatively very little to make and they appeal to demographics advertisers like (teens and gay men). Also CW is still a syndicated "network" so ultimately the affiliates eat a lot of the costs if shows fail.

CW Boss: Powerpuff Pilot Came In 'Too Campy,' Will Go Back to Drawing Board

Asked by TVLine how exactly the first crack at a pilot came up short, Pedowitz said, “Tonally, it might have felt a little too campy. It didn’t feel as rooted in reality as it might have. But again, you learn things when you test things out. And in this case, we felt like, ‘Let’s take a step back and go back to the drawing board.'”

They need to launch this shit into the sun, not "back to drawing board."
