My Gf has made password on her Windows Name Login,and after she came back from vacation she cant remember it :lol ,how do i disable the password check or change the password without knowing the original?

At the welcome screen, ctrl + alt + delete twice.

username: Administrator
password: hopefully she didn't set one initially.

And then i can manualy change passwords of other Users? Or can i only delete them?

you can change the password when you go into control panel -> user accounts, but it looks like you need to know the current password to do so..but at least that will allow you to get into windows..copy her profile and her files and make a new user account if she can't figure it out.

I'm assuming you're on XP.

Login as Administrator
Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management

It's in there.

I think t's actually admin, not Administrator. Also if she's like most people she logs in as admin by default.

I always tell customers that they are screwed when they call in about this. I mean, it's their freakin' fault they gave themselves a password that they don't remember. And for obvious legal reasons I can't tell them that there's an illegal way to get around it.
