hiring dragonfly to make maps for them was a very smart move, eviternity is excellent, as are most of his maps
shame it's on unity from the modding perspective but the editor looks great and i look forward to messing about in it

I played the beta of this and it was incredible. So glad it's out today. Get into it if you loved DOOM, love old school FPS, etc.

I kick-started way back. Played the closed alpha, it's great. A nice take on the Doom formula, with some interesting weapons and an awesome art style.

So far so good levels are designed by people that understand good level design.
you can spot it super easy. Kinda like the ionmaiden devs.

I love the graphical style. It reminds me of one of those games that pops up every now and again, where some super talented bedroom programmer decides to make a game on an old system, say the PSX about 25 years after its initial release and has it doing all sorts that shouldn't be possible

This is pretty spot on. There's a lot of great stuff from the community already playable. And if ANY of you have played Brutal Doom you'll have a good idea what to expect. Graphics and sound are exceptional too.
Look for ya boy's name on the wall of heroes or whatever they are gonna call it in-game.

amazing game but i only have 2 things that bothers me.
Reload in this game is not needed. should be more retro like the new Doom and the pentalty of movement with some weapons like the minigun.

I am somehwat hesitant to play the early access more than. I have but I really like this game a lot. The market is flooded with these retro shooters right now but this one still finds its groove. Where Ion Maiden was a love letter to Duke Nukem and 3D Realms, this game is everything I loved about classic Doom dialed up to 11
