Program re-activations piss me off

I have to do some stuff in Photoshop for a class. I also had to do a system restore to a few days ago, and now Adobe demands that I re-activate Photoshop CS because of changed system settings since the last time I opened the program. Fine, whatever. It's annoying but I'll do it. Oh wait, sucks to be me, Adobe's activation service is currently unavailable and I'm obviously passed the 30 day leeway period.

So now I can't use Photoshop until they decide to let me complete activation. Again.

There comes a point where all this security is simply downright unfair and prohibitive to the consumer, or at the very least impractical, and that time is now.

It does suck that the people who actually purchase the products are the ones being reamed in the ass. I had to do that with Windows XP after my 7th or so re-install, luckily Microsoft is atleast smart enough to have a 1-800 number. Took me no more than 5 minutes to get me up and running.
