I'm trying to run "GUN" on the PC ---- but it doesn't at all seem optomized to run a streaming environment off of a CD, or sync sound and voice off the CD as well...
It completely hickkups for up to 2 seconds sometimes when streaming in an environment... this sucks since shooter missions spann across the map...

Is there a way to get the CD installed onto the hard-drive? ..... PM me if it's innapropriate..
I've heard of others having this problem as well...

I think you'd need an optical drive emulator, though I won't tell you where to get one. Even if you got that emulator for your drive, and drive only, you'd need to have the game installed BY DISC, and you'd need to get image files for the game. These image files are the illegal part, I imagine, so I can't help you with those either. I'd help you find the optical drive emulator, but I know you're a pirate!

Since when have PC games streamed off the CD? They've always installed the complete game (including movies) to the HD, then use the CD as a dongle.

Maybe there is a minimum install option on GUN? I have no idea, but assuming there was, then the game would have to fetch data off the CD/DVD.
