I have a few files that are in PDF format and I need to add a few things to them. Is there a program (preferably free) or plug-in that I can download that will allow me to do this? I did a google and found a few but I am unsure since none of them are free and only evaluation copies..

Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro are what I use, but they are both quite expensive. Maybe there's a trial on their site?
