PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July 2025 - Diablo 4, King of Fighters XV & Jusant

Is the offline campaign for Diablo IV... good? I don't give a pig's arse about online campaigns, etc etc, but Diablo III main campaign was pretty good.

Great. Somehow their best efforts go to the base-tier rather than the higher ones, they don't want people to upgrade

There is no true offline, all cities and open-world ares are shared, you will see other players running around.
You dont ever need to engage though.

The campaign is great and is quite lengthy too.

Endgame (the grind after you finished the story mode) sucks ass, but it is a great game for casual ARPG enjoyers.

You can't play the game offline, but you can play the whole campaign solo (there's some areas on the open world map were it's PvP enabled, but you don't have to engage with that part of the game if you don't want to).

Anyways, I'd say the campaign is fine. If you enjoyed the SP campaign in Diablo 3, then I think you'll enjoy this one too.

Jusant is nice enough but it really makes you wish for a new thatgamecompany game.
First half holds really well, but as soon as you enter the lantern caves the quality plummet, and imo they screwed the ending because they did not understand what made Journey so great (the cathartic / liberating nature of journey, abzu and even flower last levels).

Already own KOF and already played the others elsewhere. Hopefully the folks who haven't played them have a good time.

They are doing a terrible job at not having people upgrading then

Sony probably would love if MS kills GP entirely, so they can also backpedal.
Plus was part of the rescue mission of PS3, but GP did not do at all the same for MS. If not straight up ruining the markets and value of games it at least pulls a good portion of gamers into a flatrate model, not wanting to pay much for anything anymore.

Probably will try all three but not really hyped about any of those.

PS+ essential is probably one of the most profitable parts of their entire business. They're never getting rid of it.

I am talking about Extra and Premium, the counterparts to what GP started.
I think they put out mostly old games, probably for very little money. I'm sure they are just fine with it. Honestly I think they make back almost all the money from their canceled games through recurring PS+ income.

Diablo IV is fantastic if you're interested but not a hardcore Diablo guy. Most people loved the campaign; it's the end-game/GAAS stuff that the hardcore players have been unhappy about.

That's a really solid month, one of the best in recent memory.
Me and some friends had been considering Diablo IV as out next Co-Op game , this makes it a no brainer.

I've also heard good things about Jusant.

Dude seriously :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Diablo 4 is great. But entire service is crap deal. Straight up multiplayer tax.
I like it because there's always 5~6 games per year who insterest me and cover the cost of the subscription. Besides that, I can play the games forever since I keep the subscription active. For me is good, cause I don't have so many times to play games.

Yeah it's decent enough, I can't remember if it can be played offline, but I just ignored all the noise and played the campaign. It's nothing ground breaking but the cutscenes are awesome and the combat is absolute carnage as you would expect from a game like this. Well worth a play through.

Blizzard seems pretty desperate to pump up player numbers for their post-launch content.
