Why not just buy the game? It's cheaper than a year of PS Plus, especially considering that the game goes on sale frequently.

It's well worth it without the expansion. There are quite a few bangers on PS+ at the moment as well.

The expansion is quite meaty (maybe not as much as the second one for Witcher 3, but still big), plus it adds some cool new endings, including a new major ending. I'd definitely be on a hunt for the Ultimate Edition if you haven't played it yet.

The Ultimate Edition was on sale for $35 not too long ago. It is not currently tho.
