the 3G could possibly pay off in the long run even if you don't use it. its one of those nice to have.

yeah that's why I went with the first edition bundle so unless they somehow really screw up when they announce the 3G details I will be getting a 3G version (the first edition bundle has the 3G Vita in America)
If you can't even multitask the web browser, what's the point of the 3G in the first place? You're not going to play multiplayer on it, that's for sure.
No 3G unit in Canada makes me sad.
Confirmed or you're just assuming based on wifi only first edition bundle for Canada. Would be hilarious if Canada didn't get 3g yet Hong Kong did, with Hong Kong's being unlocked to boot.
I believe it has been confirmed that at launch Canada will not get the 3G model due to service providers.

Anyways, memory cards will be used for music, videos, game saves, dlc and game downloads. Vita has 512MB of memory, but it is not user accessible, and I imagine is just for firmware updates, and keeping the OS running.

Some games will store its dlc and save datas in their own game cards. Others, like in PSP will store its DLC and saves in the memory cards, in the same one you can store music or video files.
Its internal memory is supposed to be for the OS only. So you wouldn't need to use space from your memory card to store the new, bigger firmware.
I'm dropping my First Edition pre-order and going for 3G + official Starter Kit.

I did the same thing, dropped the first edition bundle and went for the 3g model stand alone, 32gb card and the starter kit, I guess I can keep the 4gb for other random stuff.

But then Little Deviants will have only been played by 20 people.

Yup, this is also my final decision. The early access bundle includes a bulky case that I know I won't use and the started kit includes a very slim case that's akin the PSP-1000 case included at the launch.
Where can I see pictures of the different cases? I'm torn on the starter kit. I'll throw away the headphones and have about a hundred microfiber cloths at my house. I want the protective film and game case, but I'd prefer an 8 GB card. If the case is decent, I'll probably opt for the kit. Otherwise I'll buy an 8 GB card, the film & case separately, and then find a nice case elsewhere later on. Not like I'll be taking the thing out of the house anyway.

I have no idea. At the very least I'd print out the invoice showing it is $39.99 when you bought it. Then they would have to honor the price.
It also seems that it's not all the games that have multiple languages on the same card. I'm seeing a separate french version of Army Corps of Hell. Weird. All of their recent DS RPGs had both FR and ENG on the same cart. You only had to switch the language of your DS to switch the language.

Spoke to store manager today; all prices are subject to change. They couldn't even guarantee my memory card preorder price would drop...but they could guarantee that I'd owe them $10 more because of the price change of uncharted.

Unless of course you don't buy the PS3 ones for 59.99 and you always wait for sales.
That 4GB card page was there last week. There was a thread on CAG where people were ordering it for 2 pennies
