PS1/PS2 Import Review Sites?

I was just curious if there was any good sites that have lots of ps1 or 2 import reviews. Also does anyone have any recommendations of games worth getting?

This forum is about the only good place I can think of to find detailed import reviews. Most of the big sites only cover high-profile titles likely to come out in North America anyway, and try as I might, I can't think of a single tiny site that has extensive coverage of import games. :(

BenT: That's a really nice find, thanks. Was looking for a site quite like this. I remember back in the day, you had pages like AnimePSX and some Norwegian PSX site, that covered these types of import obscurities, but nowadays they're really tough to find. That 'Adventures of Little Ralph" game in particular has piqued my interest - lovely graphics and the review of it sounded very good. Now that I have a system capable of playing PSX/PS2 imports, I am considering picking it up.

Oh snap, AnimePSX rocked! Ahh how I miss the golden days of PS1 & Imports. And reading various reviews on the newsgroups.

Japan Gaming is another one - though it's mostly boxart scans with a short (1-2 paragraph) description of the games. There's also some translations of interviews with some of the guys from Cave, which are interesting reads if you're into those kinds of games.

Worde. Yeah, I remember those sites. Too bad they're gone. Nostalgic.

About Ralph, Twin Dreams does go a bit overboard on praising it, though not as much as Halverson on Hermie Hopperhead. Ralph is a very nice-looking and tight-playing game, but it's also extremely simple compared to most popular 2D platformers. It kinda feels like an arcade game. Good luck finding it ... it's not quite rare in Japan, but it's also far from common. I think I paid 3000-4000 yen? for it last year, but I bet eBay prices would go much higher.
