Wait, this is the third game? In that case, interest rising. Kind of confusing though, I thoght the first game was called "Zero" in Japan as well.
I wonder if this game has English menus/text? Anyone knows?

They're all called Zero, with different subtitles. The second one was called Zero Purple Butterfly, and this one is called Zero Irezumi no Koe.

That explains it, thanks.

It's an Asian version (with Hongkong SAR icon besides the picture).

- Zero
- Zero ~Crimson Butterfly
- Zero ~Shseki no koe

Man, I would pick this up if...

1) I wasn't going to Japan next week for the rest of the year
2) I didn't have a tradition of playing these games with someone who knows no Japanese

That's such a good price, though. Anyone actually play it? If so, how does it compare to the other two?

I got "Irezumi no Koe" from the game's page at play-asia. BTW, is that supposed to be "Shisei"?

And yeah, it's Crimson not Purple. I must've had that Zhang Ziyi movie on my mind. :)

The price is really good, even better than the local stores (in Hong Kong), ha ha !

The game is average IMHO, not really interesting story. And the concept is very much like Silent Hill 4 The Room, some locations are recycled from the older games.

The official one is "Shiseki no koe", it is also in the logo. :)

How would you rank it compared to the first two? I liked both, but I thought the first one was much better. More challenging and gritier. Does part 3 have an FPS mode like Fatal Frame II had on Xbox?

And is the Asia version in Japanese?

It doesn't have FPS mode, may be a later X360 or XBOX version will, ha ha !

To me, Zero > Zero 2 > Zero 3

Zero is very scary, the others simply cannot be compared, I had to stop playing the first time at the starting stage in Zero, but not for Zero 2 and 3.

Asian version is the same as the Japanese version, except the packaging (and the origin of the printings).

Hmm, too bad. I never actually finished Zero 2, so even at such a good price, I probably wouldn't be playing this much. Thanks for the info.
