Wouldn't it be hilarious if after all this criticism and joking for a year, Sony unveils the final PS3 hardware with the original boomerang controller intact? :lol

If changes have been made, I'd still expect it to be reasonably similar to what we've seen already. I don't think it'd be a from-scratch redesign.

Fortunately the 360 controller can work with other hardware (unlike the console itself). 360 controller adapter FTW.

It could change. The whole issue with the controller is weird. I remember Kaz saying in an interview that Kutaragi was waving it around in front of him and he went to grab it and Kuratagi snatched it away.

I'm hopeful there's something else "up", but I'm not sure if it'd have much of anything to do with the aesthetics of the controller.

Somethings changed on it or the entire design is gone. That's what it seems like anyway. The system has been demoed before and it seems like its always on a DS2. It also seems like there's only 1 controller whent hey display the system at shows. It's just a very odd situation with it. But then again, no one other than Kutaragi and others at Sony seem to have held it so it could be very comfortable. *shrugs*

I could imagine that the whole system(console and controller) are still just concept designs. Sony hasn't even started manufacturing yet have they?
