Well I give up, I ain't finding any ps3 gameplay footage, just cutscenes. Same thing happened with the ps2 and nothing ever came close to the footage I saw at the unveiling. I'll wait 'till I see games :/

Except it did. Have you actually watched the PS2 demos recently? They haven't aged well at all, especially the GT one (and that skeleton graveyard one but that wasn't really that hot to begin with).

Killing Day also looked realtime to me, in fact looking at the hi-res pics they scream realtime:

I'm going to *try* to keep my expectations in check, both titles seem just too good to be true.

That said, If this is what we have coming on any of the next-gen machines, it's a great time to be a gamer, regardless of console.

Yes, that was realtime and it looked good (several v-sync problems too).
warhawk and gt5 looked realtime too, but the others ???

As predicted, sony wowed the crowds with demos and lots and lots of fine prerendered movies, microsoft showing was underwhelming, since they showed real unfinished, running off unfinished hardware and rushed, games..

Oh, please. Several of the trailers, including Killzone 2, Insomniac's FPS, Motor Storm and Killing Day looked like actual gameplay sequences rather than cinematics.

Watch the second set of videos - that's the original games. And the majority of it looks realtime. I would say KZ2 and the Insomniac FPS were definately realtime, Heavenly sword is a mix of realtime and cutscenes, and the racing game is definately a mix as well. Warhawk looks almost completely realtime.

I think the racing game is real time, because there are spots where it had major sync issues between the top and bottom of the screen. Some real time cutscenes like RE4 though.

Funny enough, the popular sequels all look like cutscenes...

Motor Storm had tearing in parts. I'd say a good portion of it is realtime. Looked a lot like RE4 where everyone said that can't all be realtime (and were owned). It looks like a mixture of gameplay and RE4 type cutaways to the rolling cars and crap.

It's okay XBox fans. PS3 won't be out until next Spring so you have this X-Mas all to yourselves.

That eyetoy demo is REALLY fucking impressive. In fact I dare say it's more impressive than the games they showed.

The camera actually picked up the guy picking up the glass, dipping it into the bathtub, and taking out some water.
