The PSM doesn't have that quote at all. A scan of the page is out there floating around and nowhere on it does it state that the RSX is less than the 7800. It's just more FUD from a desperate fanboy. (Check his post history)

So what if it's not as powerful as the 7800. Console have always managed to squeeze out the most from it's hardware. Look at some of the latest games on PS2.

PS3 will be plenty powerful enough. No problems there.

Uhh if thats a quote the guy is contradicting what some other Nvidia engineers have said, the RSX is supposed to be a bit more powerful than the 7800 combine that with the CELL and that retarded memory controller and the RSX will have more potnetial since it wont be starved.

I'd say that Inquirer just took it from Gametab, which took it from EvilAvatar, which took it from RedCloak.

Unless the newest PSM has another quote than the previous PSM, which didn't say anything of the sort, it seems bogus.
