I was just thinking about what the next Microsoft Box will be called... I mean, 720 sounds pretty dumb, and later, 1080 will sound even worse. Any rumors/ideas/news on this front?

I have a suspicion that the next xbox name will be a successor to however they re-brand the 360 with Natal, assuming Natal is successful.

The "Xbox" name has a bit of a negative connotation among the casual audience they're after, so I'm expecting them to re-brand the 360 + Natal as something like "360 Free" to get rid of the Xbox name while maintaining some measure of consistency.

The next console afterwards will likely be named based on whatever they choose. (which I guess we'll probably find out at E3)
