Maybe i'm missing something, but is there a way to turn of the controller manually? I have it set to auto-off after ten minutes, but when I'm binge watching a series on netflix I really don't need my controller to be on.

I've had auto downloads on since day 1 and always use standby mode. Haven't had my game saves auto-upload or game updates auto-download in standby mode in well over two weeks now. Hopefully that's being fixed in this patch.

Hold the PS button down for about 3 seconds. In that menu is an option to shut off the controller.

First day I had my ps4 left it on standby, had to move to another room unplugged it then plugged in next room and my ps4 went into an extra long recovery process before coming back to normal. It finished with a message that I should never do that again

I left my PS4 on standby and then had a blackout. It caused the DS4 to lose sync so I had to press the power button on the PS4 to turn it on. Then the PS4 told me to not unplugged the system while on standby again.
 
"System stability? Fuck you, Sony!"

"My PS4 locked up today. Fuck you, Sony! Fix this shit!"

Can't win, lol.

Ummm console has been out for less than a month so I think it's a little soon to be talking major updates. I'm sure they will start adding some of the missing features in sometime after the new year.
 
System software stability?

I'm assuming this is referring to games crashing? Because other than BF4, none of my other games have ever crashed.
 
Holy shit, how is the OS at 1.52 already when the console was released not even a month ago? What did it launch at?
