Ok, so we all know 3.10 was seemingly unnecessary as it's just stickers, right? I wanted to play Bloodborne and had it highlighted, ready to go and i heard a video playing. I expanded the "live area" of the game and found a new area called, "player recommended". Apparently this area collects up to 24 social media links such as Facebook screenshots, broadcasts, and youtube archives. I have not seen this prior to the update. As a streamer I find this awesome and helpful as it connects people who may have similar interest as well as excite playthrough ideas within that gaming community. I also play Killzone and sometimes it's hard to find people as passionate as I am for the game and series. With the said feature I'm able to connect and contact with those who are live and currently active with the game. You really should check it out...should it be new...

I noticed that with dragon quest heroes, I saw it and played one of the short vids it included of someone's trick arial slashes . thought it was something I missed when they introduced communities

The videos continue to play in the background even after scrolling back up. There really should be an option to disable it.

They also add some delay to the UI. Not a well thought out feature.

Maybe your connection is slow and so you haven't seen it happen? I usually only have a few seconds before the video starts.

Haven't noticed too much delay, but I'll admit the video need to stop or pause once you scroll up. I feel it adds more of a community feel to each game.

Can't say it's my speed at all, I press play and it plays and I go on with life, maybe I have something disabled.

I JUST noticed this stuff and yes, they absolutely do. I wasn't paying attention and all the sudden I hear some dude mumbling into a mic talking about Until Dawn. It seems to slow the menus down to. Garbage feature.
